“A lovely little cafe I came across as being new to the area and on maternity leave. The surrounding park is gorgeous and I often pit stop at Sassis for some iced coffee and a snack :) The owner, Wayne, was super accommodating for my little one’s first birthday and let us reserve a few tables for our family & friends. The staff were amazing, very friendly & helpful throughout the day! Food & drink, as always, was great too :) Definitely recommend this lovely little cafe to anyone, we’ll be back again soon!”

“Ordering from Mohini Balti House takeaway was an absolute delight. From the moment the bag arrived, the rich aromas of freshly ground spices filled the air a promise of something special inside. The chicken tikka masala was a standout tender pieces of chicken in a creamy, spiced sauce that was full of depth without being overpowering. The lamb rogan josh was equally impressive cooked to perfection, with a sauce that clung beautifully to every bite. The pilau rice was fragrant and fluffy, the perfect companion to the curries, while the garlic naan was still warm, soft in the middle, and lightly crisp on the edges exactly how it should be, even after delivery. What really impressed me was how fresh everything tasted. Often with takeaway, you expect food to lose some of its quality in transit, but here, every dish arrived hot, flavorful, and full of life. Even the Meat samosas kept their crunch, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ — This is takeaway done right: fresh, authentic, and full of heart. A real treat that brings the vibrant taste of India straight to your doorstep”

“We always order the mini pizzas from here, and they never disappoint! They’re super crunchy and packed with flavor—absolutely delicious. Honestly, I enjoy these more than some of the big-name pizza franchises. I purposely go for the mini size so we don’t overeat and can fully savor every bite. “The chicken waffle was absolutely amazing, fresh and flavourful. The waffle was so spongy and was very easy to eat and not too filling at all. “I have been to Dottys a number of times for breakfast and always been impressed. Today I took my son for the Elf Afternoon Tea and was so happy with everything. Plenty of lovely sandwiches, and amazing sausage rolls as well as the scones. There was a themed cookie which not only looked but tasted amazing. My son was so pleased and I'd happily book again for afternoon tea, worth every penny.”

We ordered the 2 Veg 1 item, which came with a nice combo of coffee, toasted bread, beans, 2 poached eggs, 2 veggie sausages, and 2 hash browns. The portion was satisfying and well put together. The taste was average—not extraordinary—but everything was cooked well and served warm. The veggie sausages and poached eggs stood out slightly in terms of flavor, and the toasted bread was nicely crisped. The coffee was a good companion to the meal, rounding out the breakfast feel. The place itself has a cozy, inviting vibe that makes it enjoyable to dine in. While the food didn’t completely blow me away, I did love the atmosphere and would definitely come back for a casual bite. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐½ (3.5/5) A solid spot for a laid-back veggie breakfast.”
