“Absolutely delicious food. Highly recommend the charcoal grilled meats. You will not be disappointment. We had the grilled lamb main and chicken wings this time and the meat was tender and juicy. Will try the other ones next time. Also loved the smoked aubergine purée dip as well. Honestly all the food dishes were great and the portion size are good too. All the food we tried were great but sadly I forgot to take photos of them as was too focus on eating. We tried their house wines and they weren’t bad neither. This is now our new favourite local place to eat and will definitely add this place to our rotation!”

“Would highly recommend this absolute gem of a Barbershop to anyone local. Was pleasantly surprised by Lukes approach to barbering with a friendly attitude and evidently many years of practice at his craft. Made me feel very comfortable in the Barber seat, especially with a beard shaping/ trim which usually causes me to feel very anxious! In addition the professional high grade products that Luke used in the hot towel and shave were great and left my hair and skin feeling soft and very clean! Will be my new regular choice for a trim.”

“I have attended here many times, both for parties and to dine with my family. There is a lovely private dining area, Which can be rented out to host parties or private dining for groups. The chef was great in working with us to select a menu that would please everybody! Food is reasonably priced and authentic. Will definitely return!”

“Superb little cinema . Lovely cafe, staff & seating areas. Excellent auditorium I visited the Phoneix Cinema for the first time October 2019 for an evening preview screening. It's a charming cinema with really well thought out layout and facilities and friendly, helpful and courteous staff . I noticed that they have a permanent ramp which is ideal for accessibility into the venue. The foyer is bright and welcoming, with lots of snack and drinks I even found Judes ice creams with the mango sorbet (£3.00) working well for me. There are lost of additional seating areas benches and chairs, so if like me, you're early, you'd have plenty of places to relax in. Upstairs the cafe is larger than it seems - I had a long seated alcove area all to myself around the corner. The food and drinks are really extensive even more so than downstairs, so a Belvoir Lemonade £3.00) was in order for me, though I would return when it's less busy during the day to enjoy the offerings. The auditorium is very plush and well cared for with great sound and comfy seats The ladies toilets on the ground floor were small but clean with plenty of mirrors, nice hand wash and cream though the hand dryer was rather lame as myself and other patrons laughed at. From East Finchley station (Northern Line) take the exit on the left by the ticket machines and walk ahead, there may be a mobile coffee van open, walk pass this to the corner and look left and you'll see the red neon sign for the Phoenix on the opposite side of the street, which is less than and 3 minute walk away.”

“I was working in this area for a few days not many places to sit and eat unless you want to takeaway. I came across Sky Coffee Lounge it's in between a coffee shop and restaurant. There is a sandwich menu and hot food menu, serving a variety of cold and hot beverages. On the day I visited it was quiet and I was talking to the owner. If you live near here give it a try you won't be disappointed. The atmosphere is wonderful, if you're alone bring a book or newspaper, relax so some reading, meet some friends for lunch or if you have a casual date organise to visit this place.”

“Have been to this lovely place a number of times over the years. Recently I’m really enjoying the veggie breakfast and have ordered it a few times (I’m not vegetarian). Highly recommend it, and compliments to the chef. The service staff are always so accommodating and asks about food allergies from the get go. Would be great if more restaurants are attentive to that.”

“The most wonderful experience at Par 3 lounge. My boyfriend and I travelled Sri Lanka in February and were craving some authentic Sri Lankan cuisine and it tasted exactly like the food we had out there! Fresh, authentic, flavoursome and beautiful. Food that leaves you smiling. The chef came over and we had a chat, everyone that worked there was so kind and friendly, they even gave us a traditional Sri Lankan dessert on the house! “Basil Lounge is the best experience for meeting up with friends, hanging out even on your own. It's Local and it's nice. You can bring your own alcohol because the place doesn't hold a drinks licence to sell alcohol but your welcome to bring your own. I don't think many people realise its a SHISHA lounge, if you know what shisha is then you know. They have many yummy shisha flavours and coals are topped up when needed. Go and you just might be a regular :).”
