“Our Pakistani friend took us to Haweli restaurant in Ilford for dinner. We had lamb and chicken curry, lamb biryani, various kebabs, it was delicious, and our first time having Pakistani food, we all loved it. Sumbul provided excellent service. She was very polite and hospitable.”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had a great experience at Sahara Grill and wanted to give special mention to Abdur Rahman, who served us. He was very professional and, for a trainee, did an excellent job. He was attentive in a calm, subtle way, checking in on us during the meal and making sure we were comfortable without interrupting the experience. Little thoughtful touches showed his awareness and good service, which really helped us feel relaxed. Food-wise, everything was enjoyable, but the Angus short rib was a standout – absolutely a hit and easily the highlight of the meal. Overall, a very positive experience. Credit to Abdur Rahman and the team.”

“Extremely disappointed with this place. I chose this place based on the good reviews, but everything arrived stone cold. The chips were stale and tasted as if they’d been fried in old oil. The shawarma wraps were also a huge let down, the sauces were so tangy and overpowering that they completely ruined the flavour. Honestly the worst shawarma I’ve ever had. I spent £41 and couldn’t enjoy any part of the meal. Definitely won’t be ordering again. Save your £ don't bother.”

“Rohit and Funi were very attentive and hospitable. They took excellent care of me and my friends, even had a good chat and some laughs with them too. Food was absolutely amazing! Tried Gobi Manchurian, samosa tikki chaat, yellow daal and paneer butter masala, all of which tasted lovely! Pani puri needed more sweet and sour in the pani however as a Punjabi Street Food cook myself, based on what I ate, I would highly recommend Indian Aroma which also offers a nice family setting. Rohit brought us a complimentary papad with peanuts and other toppings which was nice but slightly on the dry side. The lime soda needed more black salt but overall, I was pleasantly happy and will be going back to try their Dosa and other vege starters.”

“I was Dubious about dining here after reading some of the reviews about management/staff But must confirm the place was amazing! We booked a table for 20:15, arrived at 20:10 and was seated at 20:15 our waitress took our drinks order and advised on some wine. She promptly returned with the drinks poured the wine and we ordered starters. Within minutes they was on our table. The main meal we was not sure about as the menu had some very nice sounding dishes. The order was placed and when they arrived at the table we all said WOW they was all presented well and looked devine. Our wine glasses topped up and we tucked in... the food was 1st class it really did taste delicious! The table was cleared and deserted ordered again fantastic! Very tasty. Would have loved a coffee but I was full. So to sum up the staff where professional, the food and deserts amazing! Can't wait to return to sample the menu.”

“HIDDEN GEM HELLOOO?!? The photo truly speaks for itself. It was so delicious and really tasted like it was made out of love! We came here once before and were given some sweet goodies as a kind gesture, it really stuck with us so obviously we had to make sure to come back. This time we were treated with the same warm welcome and kindness. The man who works at the till is such a sweetheart, always so attentive to the customers and never fails to put a smile on our face before we leave, he really makes up for most of our experience. “Staying a few doors down at a VRBO, and we've come here every morning of our stay for coffee. The specialty coffees are delicious, and the baristas are so nice! They also offer a variety of breakfast pastries that our kids loved. We haven't tried their actual breakfast items as we aren't morning eaters, but they also look delicious!
