“Absolutely incredible Italian restaurant. Every dish was so tasty, loved the music and the service was brilliant. Giuseppe made us feel so welcome and was great with recommendations. The pasta is all freshly made in house and you can really tell because it’s so delicious. The pistachio tiramisu is a must try!! Bottomless brunch is only £20 aswell, such great value; includes bottomless Aperol spritz and prosecco.”

“Hawthorn is 100% your new go-to spot in Kew/Richmond. For some background, everyone who I was with for dinner had previously dined at the Glasshouse at some point in their lives, so when we all arrived for dinner at Hawthorn, we were intrigued about how it would compare… AND WOW our expectations were blown out of the water. Not only did we each quite literally lick the plates clean, but we all felt that each course was complex yet also felt so simple and just plain delicious. We heard that the restaurant just opened a couple of weeks ago, but the food tasted as if the chefs have been cooking together for years. Whether you are there for lunch or dinner, either set menu is incredibly well priced (especially when the food quality is at this level). The sommelier is incredible, suggesting perfect pairings for each course to accommodate every taste bud or finding a bottle that works with a table of diners who ordered a mixture of seafood and meat mains! Conveniently it’s also right next to Kew Gardens station or a short walk from Richmond station - very easy to get to and definitely worth a trip. What an amazing new restaurant in Kew!”

“Stopped by the other day and was blown away! The coffee was outstanding, which is so hard to find in London. Made me feel like I was abroad. Croissants were also spot-on, and the owner was so warm and kind. When you step out of the station, turn right, and it’s about a minute’s walk. The kind of place you go out of your way to visit again!”

The flavors are subtle, layered and blended which come together in a delicious beautiful symphony for the taste buds. The unique flavors will have you thinking about your eating experience for days afterwards. The staff are so friendly and welcoming it’s like you are sitting at the table at their home. “Wonderful little brunch cafe with excellent food and friendly service! The cafe is nice, with a chilled out, relaxed feel to it. Lots of seating in the garden outside and some tables on the street at the front. The food is excellent. Very tasty. Full English was done very well with excellent quality sausages!”

“This place deserves much higher review points. Everything is perfect. Literally perfect It has been around many years. Feels so cosy with carpet and cushion decoration. Lighting and music really on point and good. Really helpful staff. Enough time between the meals. Had beef tartare and tempura squid and prawn as a starter. Burger and beef stroganoff for main. Cost around £60 per person inc service charge which is really reasonable for the quality they are providing. Thanks”

The menu changes often - to tickle your taste buds, but old favourites are always available. The food is fresh, perfectly cooked and tremendously tasty. It’s shame that the menu is not available today but still have variety food selection including toast, sandwiches, cake, tart or cookies etc. Latte smell really good and hot.
