“Not sure about the other reviews but I thought this place is arguably one of the most authentic restaurants in the area. I loved the pizza and pasta we shared - sorry no photos of the Ndjua pizza or sage / butter ravioli as we were too busy eating it! Would highly recommend- avoid the tourist traps and go here. Did I mention the Tiramisu?”

“M&S Café in Richmond Park is the perfect place to take a break after a stroll in the beautiful park. The café offers a great selection of freshly made sandwiches, cakes, and, of course, excellent coffee. The setting is clean and comfortable, with plenty of seating and large windows that let in natural light. The customer service is exceptional—staff are friendly, attentive, and always greet you with a smile. They go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need, which adds a personal touch to the experience. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or relaxing with a coffee, it’s always a pleasant visit.”

“We were delighted with the service extended by the staff of this Starbucks. Eugene served us and he was pleasant and friendly, totally reminding us what Starbucks is all about. I needed some hot water and he was kind enough to ask me what size of cup I wanted and even gave a cup cover. The Christmas selections are excellent particularly the Egg Nog latte and Iced Chocolate Mousse Latte. A big thank you to Eugene and the rest of the team for making our short visit delightful.”

“Brilliant restaurant that has survived here since 1982 under the same ownership. One of the oldest in the area, that says a lot. Service is good, have drinks on drafts and prices are reasonable. They accommodated us very late on Boxing Day and most importantly the food was great, at reasonable prices. Highly recommended.”

“We had a fabulous prosecco afternoon tea at the Botanical Brasserie. We used a voucher through virgin experiences for Kew gardens+afternoon tea. You need to pre-book your table for afternoon tea, which we did 3 weeks before and had a lot of selection of times etc. We sat outside with views overlooking the lake and palm house; umbrellas provided welcomed shade. Staff were happy to seat us 45 mins before our booked slot (2.30pm), which was really helpful. The staff were attentive, checking on us regularly and our afternoon tea came out very quickly. The selection of cakes and scones were delicious. The sandwiches were lovely, nothing overly special, but nice all the same. A lovely atmosphere and beautiful afternoon. I'd recommend it.”

“I popped in today to book a party for my daughter. Incredibly friendly, a very nice atmosphere and a much needed facelift for the place. The fridges are full, looks very welcoming and more like a cafe with pottery. We are very excited to be going tomorrow, will update the review after that”

“I was very pleasantly surprised as I ordered the delivery for first time and also very shortly before Christmas and it arrived in three days, so thank you very much! Parcel was delivered by DHL and everything was in great condition, no damage of anything!”

“Been to this branch many times. Each time the pizza was ready in under 10 mins. Nearby Waitrose is also very convenient. Staff are polite and helpful. A shame that the Putney branch closed though.”

“This is such a lovely cafe inside the swimming baths. You can grab a drink from an outside area where you just ring a bell and someone very friendly will come and serve you or if you enter the leisure centre you can go inside the cafe... this also has a nice green outdoor area with family benches if you would like to enjoy some nice weather in summer. The food is really nice! They have loads of variety of food and drink. Very suitable for children, with a children menu to. There is some tv screens that usually has something playing if there is an event e.g Wimbledon. They are really nice and will put on a childs programme if you come in with young children. They have a book table with a variety of books for adults and children to read.”

“This is a very fresh sushi. I have been buying it consistently now for a year since we moved close to Sainsbury and the quality and value for money is good. Because of the packaging you can also see how fresh so if there is avocado that is not looking great you just don’t buy it. You can also see them making it there. I do wish there would be less dried onion on those special boxes which I don’t like but other then that I am super happy”
