The food, though, is the real star of the show. Everything is incredibly fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of flavour. Today, I treated myself to the spicy salmon sushi roll and salmon sashimi, and they absolutely exceeded my expectations. The sushi roll had just the right amount of spice, perfectly complemented by the freshness of the salmon. The sashimi was silky, tender, and practically melted in my mouth. Every bite was an explosion of flavour that left me wanting more, even though I left feeling so full and satisfied. If you’re a fan of fresh, high quality sushi served by people who care, Sushi Point is a must visit. I’ll definitely be returning to try more of their menu!”

“What a pleasant experience. We were greeted at the door and seated by the friendly "Ben" who anticipated our needs throughout the evening. Ben brought us some complimentary warm focaccia and olives to nibble on while we made our menu choices. The menu has a good balance of dishes and I quickly decided on my choices along with a bottle of Ramaro for the table; I have a soft spot for Sicilian red wine. All dishes were well plated and tasted as good as they looked. The portions were also very generous, perhaps "Mama" was in the kitchen dishing the plates. After the meal, there was little room left for dessert, so I shared a panna cotta with my wife; I have to say that it was the best I've ever tasted. My only regret is that I didn't choose one of the seafood dishes, they looked realy appetizing. My relationship with crustacions has always been one where no matter what precautions I take while shelling them, a jet of oil always squirts out and slashes me on my shirt. Perhaps next visit I'll wear on old shirt or a bib; perhaps both.”

“OMG, Better Bagels are amazing. Staff are very friendly and helpful if you don't know what fillings to have. They've got an amazing fries menu which is a meal in itself. Take away only as only a tiny shop next door to Whitton train station. The Bagels are just like the American ones with a wide selection of fillings or make your own up. Prices are very reasonable and well worth a visit. If you love bagels you'd love Better Bagels. Visit asap, you won't be disappointed. They also have amazing shakes and juices, and pretty decent coffee as well.”

The staff members are exceedingly courteous and provide excellent service. Although my original intent did not involve dining here, I was in the vicinity picking up parts from Mazda and Dealer. I happened upon this invitingly named restaurant across the street, prompting me to seize the opportunity to sample their cuisine. The experience was truly remarkable.”

“A real nice experience in Indian dining. Started off with the reviews of course and then the dining. The cider choice, was a koppaberg which was refreshing. Thr samosas in the chaat were complimented with channa aka chickpeas and vatiyon other accoutrements. Delicious. The murg tikka was quite good too but would have preferred fit bit more heat n the green chutney served with it. On to the main course with lamb saag and dal makhani with breads. Both ere well cooked and excellently spiced to provide a great end to the meal. Unfortunately no space for kulfi.”

“An excellent Sunday lunch at The White Swan. Not that many tables, so we'd reserved for 3x in advance, but just a few days before. The weekend before Christnas, so we were pleased to be fitted in. A lovely table right by the bar, immediately friendly service, a drink for me, whilst waiting for the rest of the party. The Sunday roasts were excellent, great pudding as well. “A lovely place to grab a hot/cold drink and a good range of snacks and ices, situated right next to a large children's playground park and picnic area. Toilets are accessible too. A few minutes walk from Ham cross- river ferry boat and this café is conveniently located between historic Orleans, Marble hill and Ham houses. All of which are fantastic places to visit, if you have the chance to. Well worth a visit!”

After receiving only generic confirmation emails and no further communication, we visited the pub a week prior to our booking, only to discover it was still under construction. Dec, the Area Manager, was present and clarified that a mix-up had occurred, and our reservation should have been canceled. Following some concern, Dec successfully rebooked our lunch arrangements at the Barney Arns in Twickenham. Our visit to the Barney Arms was met with exceptional service from Chloe, who demonstrated remarkable helpfulness and understanding, effectively alleviating any concerns we had. Our Christmas luncheon was exceptional, characterized by outstanding cuisine and a superb ambiance. The staff provided exemplary service. Dec, Chloe, and the team provided exceptional assistance. “This is the eat-in to have. Food is always nice. Fresh and a lot of flavour. Always arrives hot and fast. You can call up and ask any questions about new dishes that you would like to try. They will always do there best to explain what it is and what it has in it. The people who work there are super friendly very polite nothing to much for them.”

“I’m a big fan of this local pub. I used to live just around the corner, and it truly felt like a second home — or even a cosy grandparents’ house. It’s surprisingly spacious, with chic dried flower arrangements on every table (even the cutlery boxes are lovely). The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming, and the staff are friendly, smiling, and attentive — not overbearing, just genuinely kind and efficient. They regularly rotate seasonal beers, so there’s always something new to try, and the food is consistently good. You can watch sports on TV, play darts, enjoy a few board games, and there’s even something to keep the kids entertained. A proper gem of a pub.”
