“Consistently excellent! This is my third visit to Navara, and I’ve had both gel manicures and gel pedicures done on a few occasions now. The service is always warm, the results are flawless, and I leave feeling genuinely pampered. It was here I discovered the cat eye (or “Keti Eye”) gel style, and I’ve been hooked ever since! For my birthday, Reeta and Sarsati created a beautiful rose-detail design I absolutely loved (photo attached). I always feel relaxed and well looked after with them. Highly recommend! “I received a lovely warm welcome in store. It looked and smelt devine. It’s just so beautiful inside. I browsed happily in a relaxed unhurried way. I was offered help but preferred to look myself. This store has a great selection of brands that I hadn’t seen before. It’s a wonderful independent boutique that has so much to offer if you’re looking for something special or some elevated everyday wear. It also has some fabulous resort wear. I was looking for a shirt to dress up and wear with jeans. The Gate Boutique had the perfect crisp white one by Second Female. It is excellent quality, and beautiful soft cotton that looks smart. There were a few I liked and was able to try in a lovely curtained changing cubicle. It was really well priced too. The Gate gives great customer service with just the right amount of friendly attention without any pressure to buy. I came away delighted by my shopping experience and my perfect shirt which is my firm favourite now. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend popping in.”

Each season the colours are always very flattering. I am loyal to this shop partly because the Manager, Ilona, has given me invaluable help over the years. She instinctively knows what will suit me and successfully encourages me to try styles I would not have immediately thought of. I wish there were more shops like this in Guildford.”
