“We needed somewhere to celebrate a life. We were lucky enough to choose Lisa's bar at the Stockley Park Golf Clubhouse. They provided a really good buffet for around 100 guests. “The Urban Rose is an amazing find hidden away in Uxbridge Leisure Centre. I have been a client since it opened and I would highly recommend this salon. The salon itself is decorated with a high finish and is always immaculately cleaned and maintained. The staff are friendly, polite and professional and I have always received outstanding service. I was absolutely thrilled with my “wedding hair” and the photos looked amazing. I also take my two young sons, who are 2 and 4, to have their hair cut at the Urban Rose. The stylists are always patient and attentive and as my 4 year old says, “he wouldn’t have his hair cut by anyone else!”. Thank you!”

“Superb service. I had an unexpected last minute trip to Saudi Arabia and wanted to get an Abaya fast. I called at 9pm, got an immediate answer from the very helpful owner. I shared my size and preferences, and was able to pick up two perfect abayas - very good quality, very reasonably priced the next morning, before flying. “Regularly going twice a year for sewing retreats or courses I really enjoy my stays but it’s the staff who make the difference. Stella on reception was delightful and really friendly to everyone but this last visit Aylesha who was managing the bar on Saturday deserves a shout out. She works hard in a very demanding area of the hotel but still found time to accommodate our request to find a remote and access a programme for us. The kitchen staff work hard and probably don’t get the praise they deserve so well done to them my only thoughts are the chef could review the combinations of food on offer some of them are are abit odd to my tastes. I enjoy an early visit to the leisure facilities but please can someone put the remote back in the gym. I look forward to our November visit Well done to all the staff”
