“My BMW 640i, originally went in for a major service + engine warning light. In short the engine had serious faults, which BMERC methodically took the time to diagnose one part at a time, ie rather than change a whole bunch of parts and not solve the issue. In the end, the engine was rebuilt with most components changed. BMERC always kept me in the loop, and sourced the best parts direct from the manufacturers. “Just perfect. Found this garage via AA Smart Service for an MOT in March. Pick-up and return of my XC90 all done within half a day and was able to do school runs. Interestingly I had a service done by a Volvo dealer just before and they claimed a fault on my car would fail the MOT - it turned out to be a nonexistent issue and the car rightly passed. “I have been coming to Barnet auto centre since moving to the area in 2020. Their customer service and prices are very reasonable and being a female driver, there's always the possibility of mechanics ripping you off. However, with this garage there's no need to worry about that.”

“Went in on 25.02.2025 to have a punctured tyre fixed. The gentleman informed me that a small puncture can be fixed without replacing the tyre and the two prices. Having looked at the tyre and its condition, he told me that's better to replace than fixed. I had a looked qt the tyre and agreed with him. I asked him to at my other tyre (both rear) and it was as bad as the other even though the threads looks good. It's the split along the groove and ruts that told me to have it changed. He did not pressure me to change at any one time. A frank honest man!”

He went out of his way to fit us in at a convenient time for us and he completed the work in a very efficient manner. As we are new to the area we got 5 quotes, and his quote was by far the cheapest we received. “Excellent local Shop friendly shop, and the owner being a former plumber knows what he talking about. Once I wanted to to "fix" something my self and instead of just selling me something he strongly advised me to get a plumber as it was not as easy as I thought it would be, and the other time I was struggling to find a plumber to come and do an urgent job, and he made one phone call and an hour later someone was at my door and the problem was fixed. What more can I say. Try getting that level of service at a big chain shop.”

“BeFix did a great Job our new boiler keep loosing pressure, I booked BeFix and they came with the equipment to detect the leak and fix it. They took a couple hours by tracing gas into the pipeline and then with the device they had they discovered the leak and they got fixed so happy with the service and will use them again if needed and highly recommended.
