I contacted Ben a few weeks ago with an issue I had with my parking brake. What started out as a small issue turned out to be a huge job as we discovered more and more bits that needed doing. This issue took multiple attempts to fix with different hiccups along the way but he kept at it and got it resolved. “Almost perfect experience in this barbers today for a beard trim. The barber took the time to listen to what I asked for, and fed back to me what he interpreted. This may seem like a small thing, but it's super important to me. So many barbers I go to do not listen to me fully when I give them instructions. The quality of work was perfect. Very highly skilled barber, and also very careful. No scratching with the razor as some barbers do. Value was brilliant. £8 for a beard trim. Very good value in my experience, especially for a skilled barber. I have no negative comments. The only suggestion I would make is that I wasn't offered the hot towel service and face wash etc. I didn't mind, because I was in a rush, but, it would have been nice to be offered. It is only a little more expensive, but probably well worth the money. Keep up the good work, and keep listening to your customers.”

“I came into Halfords about 20 minutes before closing time looking for a headlight bulb. A team member kindly asked if I needed any assistance, and John came over twice to check in and help me find exactly what I needed. He was very helpful and professional. Once I’d picked out the bulb, John asked if I’d like it fitted, and he quickly arranged for another gentleman to do it. As soon as I stepped outside, the gentleman kindly asked if it was about the headlight and fitted it in no time! I was out in less than 10 minutes. Really impressed with the level of service, especially so close to closing time. Thank you to John and the team for going above and beyond!”

“Probably one of the cheapest places to get a hand car wash. £15 for outside only of an SUV. It used to be £12!!! It’s definitely not the prettiest or cleanest service station but it does the job. Highly recommend. Especially over automatic car washes that run the risk of scratching your car.”

“I took my Roberts Radio in at 08;30am to get a ‘power issue’ addressed. When you do this sort of thing you wonder if you are going to get stiffed or not! I was very pleasantly surprised, the gentleman engaged in a conversation to understand more of the symptoms and then I left it with them. I was called later the same morning, to pick up the radio that had been fixed fixed and the cost much less than expected. Great service, will use again.”
