“Excellent academy, my children love it and so do I! My children have been attending DJS Taekwondo Academy for nearly six years, and I can’t speak highly enough of Daniel and his team. The classes are engaging and student-centered, allowing kids to have fun while they learn. The instructors excel at building positive relationships with the children, promoting respect, cooperation, and attentiveness among them. After watching my younger children’s taekwondo lessons for a few months, my step daughter also asked to join. To be honest, if I had the time I’d also join and I’ll explain why. The instructors are skilled at working with kids, helping even the shyest children to build confidence over time. I've watched my son, who started at four, truly flourish. I found that my children thrive in DJS supportive environment because they are treated as individuals. The instructors are excellent at identifying their strengths and areas for improvement, which helps them become more self aware. Daniel promotes parent involvement with an open-door policy, all my questions have been addressed promptly throughout the years. The lessons not only focus on taekwondo techniques but also helped my eldest develop resilience and focus, which has been important in preparing her for the 11+. The practise sessions not only prepare children for their grading but also give them a chance to develop strategies for managing stress in high-pressure situations. My children are eager to do well and feel they have a safe space to make mistakes while receiving the support they need to improve. This has really boosted their self-confidence and I’ve noticed my daughter has become more capable of standing up to bullies at school. DJS Taekwondo organises fun events, and Daniel masterfully balances humor, flexibility, and discipline in his teaching style. In my opinion, DJS taekwondo equips children with much more than just martial arts skills; it prepares them for life. I highly recommend DJS Taekwondo Academy.”

“I visited Thanet House Dental for my first appointment and I cannot fault my experience. The dentist was fantastic, friendly and informative. I am usually an anxious patient but I felt completely at ease with him. I had a general check up with a scale and polish (all NHS) and he did a brilliant job. I then wanted to book a hygienist appointment for a deeper clean (I am 3.5 years overdue), and there was no availability until late September. As I'm getting married in a couple of weeks the receptionist suggested I ask the dentist if he'd mind doing it for me and he kindly agreed. Everyone was very friendly and accomodating, I highly recommend them.”
