“A Proper Little Cafe - Great Find Was in Rickmansworth on a Saturday morning and looking for a proper brunch spot that wasn't a big chain. Stumbled upon Cafe Deli 122 and it was exactly what we were after. First off, it's a small place and was pretty bustling when we arrived, which is always a good sign. We managed to get the last free table. It's not a fancy spot by any means; it has that classic, unpretentious British cafe feel, which was perfect for a relaxed breakfast. The menu isn't huge, but it has all the essentials you'd want. I went for the poached eggs and my friend had scrambled eggs on a toasty bagel. You can tell they use good ingredients. My eggs were perfectly runny and served on some proper thick-cut toast. The coffee was decent too – a good, strong flat white that actually tasted of coffee, not just hot milk. Service was quick and friendly, no fuss. The lady behind the counter was managing the rush really well and still had a smile for everyone. The best part is the price. For the quality of the food, it's brilliant value. It's easy to see why it's popular with locals. If you're looking for a solid, no-nonsense breakfast or lunch that tastes great and doesn't cost a fortune, this is the place. Will definitely be back next time I'm in the area.”

“A great pub in lovely country surroundings. They had indoor and outdoor seating. They came to our table to take our order, but also had an app. The staff are really friendly, it’s clean and roomy. For hiking, it was wonderful to have this pub on route. I would definitely recommend coming here.”

“This place is a hidden gem! A small local and friendly pub with bug beer garden, but a hidden thai restaurant upstairs! The food was delicious and genuine thai, had a chance to meet the chef and she was a pleasure to talk to. We had to take takeaway after we finished dinner, which almost never happens to me. The staff was very friendly, we were served quickly and in general it was a lovely evening. Next time I am in the area, will have to stop for a meal!”

“Was recommended to come here for dinner, and I’m so glad I did. From start to finish, was such an experience. Met with a professional team, that care about their work, clearly trained to a high standard. Food allergies and care were taken very seriously, on top of there being many options should you have allergies. Amazing food to top it off. Highly recommend to you all. We traveled 45minutes and will definitely make that travel again.”

“First time visit. Very cosy pub. We ordered two starters each for four people, along with mini dessert, including hot drinks. Food very tasty. Staff were polite and accommodating towards our needs and had a chuckle at our order. It's quite different for me but enjoyable. There are plenty of car parking spaces. “From the atmosphere, to the service and staff everything was nothing short of amazing. All the food was absolutelly amazing but the Korean fried chicken burger was the star of the show. The burger was an explosion of flavors and textures. The crispy chicken was coated in a sweet and spicy sauce topped with crunchy slaw and creamy mayo, it was one of the best burgers I had in years. “A lovely friendly pub. Very popular with the locals of Croxley Green but you’re made to feel very welcome on arrival. Seating outside front garden & also out the back garden which is nice, but over looks the car park. The car park can get full at peak times but not normally a problem to find somewhere local to park. Dogs are allowed both inside & outside and on the few occasions we have visited there has always been many dogs here. The vibe seems really chill & relaxed. Food is good, I always go for the superfood salad as it’s simply the most amazing thing which sounds strange for a salad but it’s amazing!”

“Very nice indeed. I'm quite surprised by the previous reviews and views on this Croxley branch. This is the second time we've been here in the past several or so months and again we've really enjoyed it. I went to collect our order. The gentleman who served me was very polite, professional, and informative. The food was piping hot, looked amazing, fresh, and the topping portions on both pizzas looked significant. Overall we paid 39.96 for 2 large pizzas (one of which was stuffed crust), 2 upgraded sides, a cookie doe w/vanilla ice cream dessert, and a 1.5l Tango. All in all me and my family are very satisfied with the service, pricing, and quality of the food. Thanks again guys. We will be back.”
