“A lovely little cafe I came across as being new to the area and on maternity leave. The surrounding park is gorgeous and I often pit stop at Sassis for some iced coffee and a snack :) The owner, Wayne, was super accommodating for my little one’s first birthday and let us reserve a few tables for our family & friends. The staff were amazing, very friendly & helpful throughout the day! Food & drink, as always, was great too :) Definitely recommend this lovely little cafe to anyone, we’ll be back again soon!”

“Me and the missus have been twice here with the kids already. Döner is my thing and boy do they know how to prepare those! My wife loves the lamb chops and chicken shish and the kids burgers the first time and pancakes the second. The place is clean, airy and with extremely attentive staff. We'll be coming back guys! “We always order the mini pizzas from here, and they never disappoint! They’re super crunchy and packed with flavor—absolutely delicious. Honestly, I enjoy these more than some of the big-name pizza franchises. I purposely go for the mini size so we don’t overeat and can fully savor every bite. “A last minute booking to take my father out for lunch. I hadn’t been here before , and my father had mixed reviews but I thought the menu looked good. I dont know why it would have mixed reviews, the staff and food were faultless. We were welcomed warmly and seated comfortably by the window. We were attended to quickly through our visit, but never rushed. Between 3 of us we had Bruschetta, Calamari and Gamberoni to start. Followed by Pesce Spada alla Sicilian (2), and Spiedini di Pesce and finished with a cheesecake , affogato and an Espresso. My favourite dishes were the Gamberoni which was a generous portion of prawns bathing in a garlicky butter and spinach sauce, and Pesce Spada , a large piece of swordfish smothered in a rich tomato, olive and caper berry sauce with a fresh and zesty side salad. Thank you to Casa Blanca for brightening a dreary Thursday. We will see you again”

“Spent valentines day here. I'd looked at the reviews before going and had an idea of how nice it would be. Definitely didn't disappoint! The staff are lovely and make sure you are looked after while you are there. The place is so beautiful, flowers from the ceiling, chandeliers and lovely canvases. The food was honestly the best Italian I have had! Lots to choose from on the menu. Had a sharing starter of meats, cheese and roasted vegetables which was delicious, would of liked more sourdough bread with it. I had a chicken main and my partner had lamb chops, both tasted amazing. For dessert we had the tiramisu and the cheesecake of the day which was honeycomb, again absolutely delightful. I will be going back and would highly recommend going. Support local businesses and not the chain restaurants.”

We ordered the 2 Veg 1 item, which came with a nice combo of coffee, toasted bread, beans, 2 poached eggs, 2 veggie sausages, and 2 hash browns. The portion was satisfying and well put together. The taste was average—not extraordinary—but everything was cooked well and served warm. The veggie sausages and poached eggs stood out slightly in terms of flavor, and the toasted bread was nicely crisped. The coffee was a good companion to the meal, rounding out the breakfast feel. The place itself has a cozy, inviting vibe that makes it enjoyable to dine in. While the food didn’t completely blow me away, I did love the atmosphere and would definitely come back for a casual bite. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐½ (3.5/5) A solid spot for a laid-back veggie breakfast.”
