“Best som tam, grilled chicken and sticky rice in London. Very authentic Isaan cooking at this lovely Thai cafe/deli. It's difficult to find really authentic Thai cooking in the UK, but Thai Duck Deli is like going for a meal in a Thai village. Spice levels go from mild to proper Thai-levels. They also have a good children's menu and toys + books to keep little ones entertained. And the freshly-made hot Thai tea is delicious and restorative. Will try one of their special curries (massamam or green curry) next time.”

“We had a delightful experience ordering from this hidden gem. We were struggling to find Thai places in the area and came across this Thai takeaway on Google maps. We placed an order for the Yellow Curry, Red curry, Pad Thai and Papaya Salad. Richard was responsive over text and incredibly friendly, and regularly kept us updated on our order. The food came fresh and hot, and we could tell that a lot of love, time and care had been taken into making these dishes - they were absolutely delicious and full of flavour. The portion sizes were also very generous. I definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to have some authentic Thai food. “Upstairs from a cracking Irish pub near Waterloo station is this unexpected Thai and Laotian restaurant. I tried one of the dishes from Laos and it was really hot but full of incredible flavours. Huge fan but make sure you can handle the heat in the three chilli dishes. The Thai starter dishes were good too. You can eat in the restaurant upstairs or the food can be served down in the pub. Service was friendly and helpful. The price was reasonable enough for very good food.”

“Spontaneously decided to drop in for “dinner for one”, since my dinner date had to stay home. The food was amazing and very authentic and probably the best Thai food I’ve had in a restaurant outside of Thailand. It’s made with love and there is no holding back with flavor and portion sizes. It makes the experience even better because they are truly there to serve good food and fill you up! I ordered the stuffed chicken wings and an order of the glazed ribs as a starter and for main I ordered spicy noodles with prawn. I was also served a basket with shrimp crackers and some chili oil and that was a nice touch. The service was very very good and I will definitely be returning next time I visit St.Albans! I brought some Tom Ga Kai back home for the sick husband and he really enjoyed it piping hot as it came. Thank you and please don’t change much till next time!”

“Great local spot - a little taste of Thailand in West London. This is very authentic Northern Thai food with fresh and delicious seafood specials. I had the sea bass and pad kaprao. It was really flavourful and reminded me of the food I ate in Thailand. The staff are friendly and really hospitable. Looking forward to eating here again soon!”

“The restaurant is tucked away on the first floor of the Royal Lancaster London Hotel. You enter through the elegant marble foyer, head up the stairs, and turn right. It sets the tone beautifully. We were greeted warmly by the manager and shown to a window table overlooking Hyde Park. Our 18:30 reservation meant the restaurant was still quiet, with only one other table occupied, a perfect start. The menu is broad but not overwhelming. I chose the chicken and coconut soup, chicken stir-fry, and mango sorbet for dessert. Every dish was exceptional, the best Thai food I’ve had anywhere. Service was attentive without being intrusive. The team clearly know what they’re doing and let the food speak for itself. The whole experience reflects the setting, refined, calm, and just the right side of luxurious. Excellent food, excellent staff. I’ll definitely be back, and would highly recommend you book a table too.”
