“A wonderfully unique mini brewer just outside the Claygate station. I think there was 3 beers on when we were there including a beautiful dark ale. The beers we had were lovely but sadly no notes were taken. If you're in Claygate, give it a go.”

“Hidden Gem! - The decor may be a little tired but the staff, food and service are very good. Our son has a severe nut allergy and although there is only 1 or 2 dishes with nuts in, the staff make sure that the woks and utensils for his food are freshly cleaned before cooking his food. We always have adrenaline with him but he has never had any problems eating from here. Highly recommended”

“I recently had a fantastic meal at The Grill Stratford and wanted to share my experience. From start to finish, the food was absolutely top-notch, and it's a spot I'd highly recommend. For starters, I got the buffalo wings and black tiger prawns. The wings had a great kick and were perfectly cooked, while the prawns were juicy and full of flavour. Both dishes were a great way to kick off the meal. But the real star of the show was the ribeye steak. It was incredibly tender, cooked to perfection, and melted in my mouth with every bite. It was easily one of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time. While my main focus was on the steak, I also had a taste of the burger, and it didn’t disappoint. It was hearty, well-seasoned, and a great choice if you're not in the mood for a steak. Overall, the quality of the food at The Grill Stratford is superb. If you're looking for a place with excellent steaks and a solid menu all around, this is definitely the place to go.”

“Once a year with my bosses we go to a nice restaurant, this year it was my turn to choose one so I choose Dinner by Heston Blumenthal because Im actually a big fan of his food and reviews are great. I must say that the experience we had were truly unique, it was beyond what I personally expected and even my bosses thought I made the right and I know I did! The service was really unique, I never experienced something like this before, staff are so knowledgeable about the food provenance and the history behind it! By the way you will be given the choice between 3 table cards: One detailing the dish's original 16th-19th century origin, the other one explaining the dish's journey from historical recipe to modern masterpiece and the other one is when you just want the food to do its talking with no story telling (please don’t choose this one!!) The whole experience was unique, I have been to many restaurants but this one is the one that I’ll definitely come back to!”

“I had the lamb curry dosa and it was icredibly delicious. The lamb curry was beautifully spiced and accompanied with a tomato chutney and an amazing coconut and mint chutney. Both ladies served me with a smile (which always goes a long way imo). Will definitely be travelling the 8 miles for this!”

“⸻ I went with my family to this Italian restaurant and we had the most amazing experience. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming and full of character which made it perfect for a family meal. The food was outstanding. The Margherita pizza was one of the best I have ever had, with a light and crispy base, rich tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella and fragrant basil. The pastas were cooked perfectly and full of flavour, each dish tasting authentic and made with care. The starters were also delicious, beautifully presented and a great way to begin the meal. The service was friendly and attentive which added to the overall experience. We left feeling happy and satisfied and we are already looking forward to coming back.”

“We were there on a weekend afternoon sat by the big window (great weather by the way!), I'll be honest though the food was great in general, the fish oh-mai-god is mindblowingly amazing. Very flavourful, good texture real crispy, I don't think anything can ever top this. Attentive staff, decent selection on the menu, I'll be back next time to try other dishes for sure.”

“I’m going to be honest I really enjoyed the Chinese in parsonage manor way a few weeks ago so I went to order it again but they was closed so I used this Chinese as an alternative and all 3 of us cleaned the plates yes we was hungry but this was so delicious very tasty yummy food we will definitely order from here again.
