The (dream) team: - Joanna was very kind since the beginning; - Chef Patron Sebastian Rast and his team made a great job in kitchen. Very quiet and effective. Absolutely masters! The food: I totally destroyed the wrong concept about gourmet food (gourmet is tasteless or/and not fulfilling). Every single dish was an explosion of flavours. Absolutely stunning! The ambience: Loved the decoration in tones of black and brown and somehow shady and minimalist. I can’t recommend this place enough! Price vs quality outstanding! Congratulations!”

I ordered the halloumi souvlaki wrap, and it was packed with flavor—perfectly grilled halloumi with a slight crisp on the outside, fresh salad, and a deliciously creamy sauce, all wrapped in warm pita. The skin-on fries were crispy and well-seasoned, making them the perfect side. The staff was friendly, and service was quick despite a steady stream of customers. The homemade lemonade was also a highlight—refreshing and not too sweet. Overall, I’d definitely recommend Taverna In The Park for a casual, satisfying meal. “Really Impressed with this hotel. Room was really spacious, lots of plug sockets dotted around, plenty of room to store clothes and a large desk if you needed to work. WiFi also great. Spacious bathroom with shower and bath with toiletries. Pressure in the shower not great in the evening but fine in the morning. Good working telly which appeared to be brand new. Room was also really quiet - didn’t hear any other guests or noise. I had parking for free as I booked directly with the hotel. I believe if you book through a third party it is £10 a day. Excellent location surrounded by lots of pubs, shops and local cafes. I didn’t eat here so can’t comment on the food. I did have a drink at the bar which was expensive as expected in a hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Can’t really fault it - and it was cheaper than the travelodge down the road!”

I absolutely love their overnight oats with poached apples which I usually enjoy after my morning practice at Triyoga Shoreditch. They are absolutely delicious. Their Acai bowl is to die for! What a TREAT! I often buy their Buddha bowls and Biryani for later as a lunch option. As spoiled as we are in Shoreditch, I must admit that it is not that easy to find a FULLY vegan place that offers takeaway as well. All the food options can also be enjoyed at the premises. Not only the food is delicious and nutritious but it is also extremely well-balanced. This is a very important, often overlooked, aspect. So, I really appreciate it. On top of everything, they offer great coffee. If you are into strong espresso, this is the place for you. The staff is super friendly and attentive.”
