“Marvin supplied all the sound and lighting equipment for a large house party. He was all over the comms, which was reassuring as it was my first time hiring DJ equipment. He went well out of his way (even going home o having set up the equipment, to get an additional speaker which he felt we needed. BTW he was right) to supply a great rig. We had two DJs who had separate specs, both or which were catered to. Marvin also chucked in some up lighters for free, just because he happened to have them with him.”

Jodi is amazing at what she does, she did my first ever tattoo and I’ve not looked back, she’s done a few for me now and I’m so stoked with all of them. The design process with Jodi is great, she really captures what you want and draws it out amazingly - so incredibly talented!! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone, especially for your first tattoo - Jodi made me feel so at ease and relaxed, it was an enjoyable experience. I even took my mum here for her first ever tattoo and she loved it too! “If I could give 6 stars I would. I had an emergency appointment for a wisdom tooth infection. I dealt with Tracey, Rahul, Lauren and Sunil and their Assistants over the course of 8 hours and felt heard. They didn’t dismiss my pain and took extra steps with scans and a secondary appointment in the same day which ultimately lead to a significant pain reduction. They are a strong team with an outstanding skill set between them. They lead with curiosity, professional excellence and empathy. Highly recommend. Thank you.”

I was delighted when I found out that she had taken on her own place that was right by my work! Her salon is absolutely beautiful and super clean. “I had a trim today and a blowout. My hairdresser was Solange. She was amazing knew her stuff, was able to advise the best tips for my hair care and also recommended in house products that would help. I love the fact that she took the time to explain what my hair needs and also examined my scalp rather than just trimming the hair as I requested. We definitely make this my salon for hair care. This means I’ve been travelling all the way from Rochester Kent to see her in London thanks once again my hair feels amazing.”

I wouldn't trust any other groomers! My dog runs to Alice's door in excitement... have you ever seen a dog do that before they get groomed?! “Tippitoes (the building next to the small playground) is a lovely place to pass time on the sometimes long days with small children. Dawn always gives a warm welcome and a cup of tea and biscuit is a nice bonus, which you don’t get at some of the more expensive classes. The sessions are mostly free play with some songs at the end. There is always a nice variety of toys so the children are happy but also friendly parents/grandparents/nannies to chat to, which is nice for the adults. Dawn runs morning sessions Mon - Fri and afternoon sessions on Wednesday and Friday when not many other activities are on. We also had my daughter’s birthday party here which I’d highly recommend.”

We were looking for an all-in-one venue that offered free parking, great food, fair pricing, and ideally, a fantastic DJ—and this place delivered on all fronts. It was the perfect package! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was amazing, and the DJ kept the party going all night. What really stood out was the staff. They treated us and our guests with such kindness and care, which allowed us to truly relax and enjoy every moment. Any adjustments or last-minute changes were met with a reassuring "not a problem—we’ll make it work," and they always did. Our guests haven’t stopped talking about what a fantastic time they had. We’re so grateful for such a memorable day and highly recommend this venue to anyone planning their special day.”

“I’ve been here a handful of times on recommendation of family members. I do not live near this nail shop but very happy to travel to it. The reception is warm and friendly and always with a smile, the staff are happy to help and advise on best products. They take their time and clearly perfect their work before letting you leave. Offered hot drink on arrival. Never had the same person do my nails and all times I’ve been very happy with the result. Would recommend! (Is cash only though!)”

“We hired this hall for the Mendhi as part of my daughter's pre-wedding celebration. The hall accommodated all the people invited and can cater for 170-180 people. The charges are extremely reasonable and communication with the team at the centre is exceptional. In particular Johanna and Paul were very accommodating. I cannot thank them enough.”

“i have been visiting radiance since 2017 with my mum and can honestly say i have had the best experience with them. All the staff are so welcoming and friendly, they never fail to amaze how much effort they make to make you feel comfortable. the staff go above and beyond to fit me in whenever i need an appointment and always make sure to ease my mind by awnsering the 100 questions i may have. The treatments are always done to the best standard and professionalism is outstanding. I have never left there without feeling satisfied for the past 3 years that i have been visiting radiance. The clinic is always nice and clean and hygiene wise the staff are always on top of the game. I 1000% recommend radiance , you will not be disappointed!!!!”

“Ramsay Hall is best described by one word: functionality. It's not comfy or flashy, but it serves its purpose. An unbeatable location for UCL students moving to London for the first time. The building is old and certainly has its quirks, but if you run into problems, the staff--Saiful, Sarka, and Ellery among many others--are kind and helpful. To the extent other reviews on here say the staff aren't friendly or helpful, I'd expect that they're coming from pampered students who didn't treat the staff with respect. If you're a UCL student looking for accommodation in your first year, hope for Ramsay. It'll be memorable and you'll be in a top-tier location.”
