“I am a regular at the London Academy of dance (salsa/bachata partner work & styling classes) and have taken classes in multiple locations with Lorena, Stefan and others. They are always professional & make the classes fun! Most classes and attendance expanded so much that the instructor (Lorena) had to split into beginners/advanced sessions very quickly. It’s great to see the crowd expanding & everyone improving every week :)”
“It take huge amount of effort and time to put a show like this together. I. as a parent am very grateful of the opportunity to see our daughter perform on stage. Playing with professional musicans and having a chance to showcase her ability play the volin. Thank you so much.”
“I'm so grateful to have such a good local music school. They have handled the pandemic really well, too. After just eight weeks in the school as an adult piano beginner, all lessons with my tutor were moved online - and she taught me online to a level where I passed my piano Grade 1 with distinction! All the school tutors are great, and have good bios on the site so you can find one which is perfect for you. My lessons are full of laughter and creativity and patience from the tutor, it's something I look forward to every week whether it's virtual or in the school.”
“I prepared the IELTS test at Victoria School in oder to apply at the University. The ways of teaching prepare me well to the exam particularly the test that we take every Friday in terms of stress management, we practice in real condition the four part of the test. During this long process I had a great and wonderful support from all the team . We have the opportunity to be taught by different professional, patient and skill teachers. I experimented the group class and the individual class both of them responded to my high expectation. The former by sharing, meeting and cheering with other students and the latter the flexibility. With no doubt I strongly recommend Victoria School. Alama”
“Fantastic club, my kids attend regularly and the team are absolute awesome. I recommend everyone to join them, you will not be disappointed :)”
“Thank you for all QSE staff and especially Uncle who supported incredibly in my son’s toughest journey through his 11 plus exams. Truly without you this would have not been possible. Uncle is a wonderful teacher and my son thoroughly enjoyed his classes and admired him a lot! My son excelled with success and got in to the school of his first choice out of many offers he had. This success is dedicated to you guys! All thanks to member of staff especially Mrs Mayura and Miss Emily who has been greatest support for us all through our journey. Really appreciate everything you did for us especially our son! I would recommend this place to any kid who are sitting for 11 plus both grammar and independent schools as this is the place with less stress and more success! Many Thanks again xx”
“Honestly, if you love music and get a chance to go to a concert here, cancel very other appointment and go. You will never be disappointed. It's pure unadulterated class.”
“fantastic tour guide - can’t remember their name but they were incredible (factual and funny,, a great combo) - took 2 hours to go all the way round but it felt like no time - would do again!!”
“I felt impelled to write in full agreement with these five star reviews. I've known the Cavendish School for years - many children and families, and both my daughters were there. We chose it specifically because it was non-selective. For both children it provided a stimulating academic environment and they went on to academic secondary schools fully prepared. Standouts for us were science, music and drama. Pastoral care was fantastic but most of all it had a wonderfully happy atmosphere. My children loved it. We all miss it!”
“Our daughter has just finished her first half term in Year 1, She tells us school is awesome. Yet again she has changed in front of our eyes, it is clear to see how the skills and strategies she learnt in Reception Class at Manor House School, Bookham blend into Key stage 1, where she will apply these methods as she progresses through the Prep school. Thank you so much Manor House School, Bookham. #happyandhealthy”
“There are many excellent schools in the London area but the combination of excellent academics and careful attention to each student and family at TASIS is unparalleled. The community of the school supports each student thoroughly through every transition whether it is an international move or a change in classes. We could ask for better for our student.”
“Very nice place. Impressive building with large park.”
“It is a very good school but bad in building at the same time children Are passing”
“Hampton Court House implements intellect, values and independence in each and every student. The school's unique and subtle qualities of love, equality and a passion for learning emanates an atmosphere of compassion and enlightenment. As a former student I can say with confidence that my life and mind would be in an entirely different state, and not one I would adhere to. Hampton Court House can and should be perceived as a statement against the dire condition and appalling lack of care our education system has employed on schooling. This school trumps the illogical parts of traditionalism and has revolutionized the way schooling is conducted in order to harness a wide array of qualities and skills that students benefit greatly from. Furthermore HCH actually prepares students for later life and teaches them about wider society, which is a huge benefit and difference compared to most other schools. Students leave HCH feeling immensely motivated and prepared to achieve great things.”
“My daughter has been in Queens College Prep school for 3 years now and she absolutely loves it , I am also happy with it and the teachers are lovely. It is very easy to communicate with the school and Teachers . The schools Atmosphere is just wonderful and everyone is family .”
“The teachers are really passionate about their teachings. I am extremely pleased with the school as my daughter is getting a private school education without paying the school fees.”
“Great school. My son started there in OG (Year 6) last September and loves it. Kids are bright, parents are friendly and the teaching seems excellent. Doesn't matter what you are into (music, sport etc.) they seem to cater for it. Although it's a private school, it's a lot less snobby than some state schools - especially some of the Grammar schools.”
“Really loved this swimming pool and classes for babies and toddlers. We took our baby there when she was 3 months and kept going until she was 2 and now we sadly moved outside London. Teachers are very gentle, the atmosfere is great, I can’t find it any faults. We will really miss it.”
“Friendly staff. Excellent environment for students to reach their full potential.”
“Our daughter (now in year 8) has been at Edge Grove since year 6 having spent all her previous schooling in the French system. We joined the school at a time when the new headmaster, Me Evans, was still putting in place his vision, but we felt that he knew exactly what he was wanting to do, and we completely bought into that vision. We have not been disappointed. The pastoral care has been first rate, particularly helping our daughter in the transition to a British Independent school. From what we have seen, any pastoral issues are dealt with speedily and sensitively. Great emphasis is put on politeness and creating the right environment for learning, whilst enjoying everything that the school has to offer. The education curriculum is innovative, supportive and stretching, and the school is doing a fantastic job of supporting all year 8 pupils in preparation for CE, truly differentiating based on the schools they are applying to and the exams they will be taking. Extra-curriculum activities are great too - the Director of Music is fantastic and the improvement in the quality of all school music activities has been marked, while the head of girls' games is really raising the bar too. Staff go beyond what one might expect and respond rapidly and helpfully to any questions or concerns. The parent community is friendly and welcoming. The school certainly deserves its recent rating of Excellent in all regards from the Independent Schools Inspection. I highly recommend the school to any prospective parent.”
“Have had my 2 children at the nursery and school from the age of 1 and always feel so lucky to have found this school. With a firm focus on education Longwood school also provides a safe, nurturing happy environment which allows children to be themselves and thrive. The friendly and approachable manner of the school has always assured me that should there be an issue as well, there would be no hesitation in finding the solution immediately - luckily for me such a scenario has never occurred. Thank you Longwood!!”
“Free parking. Polite staff and good teaching swimming instructors. My kids loves swimming here @ First Strokes Billericay.”
“Wonderful school which provides kids unlimited freedom, space, fun, learning, and overall whatever a school can provide and more. I enrolled both my kids earlier and they loved it a lot…”
“I used to go there when I was in elementary school! It's a place of memories”
“Superb school and staff. We moved our child from our local outstanding school to Acorn after we noticed he was been left behind due to a rushing attitude on learning and some other factors. The care and attention given here has huggly improved his well being therefore a massive step towards the education. If you are thinking of joining the school go and see it for yourself. Notice the happy children, notice the classrooms and the office. Speak to the teachers and you will get your answers. We are very greaful to have chosen this school.”
“EXCELLENT school Well rounded happy children”
“St James is a school that fosters children's confidence, communication skills, and a love of learning. They do this through lot of drama, speech competitions, beautiful literature, philosophy classes, singing, and the school equivalent of positive parenting. A wonderful school that educates the whole child.”
“Good infrastructure, helpful Teachers and the new building is fantastic”
“Harrow School was founded in 1572 under a Royal Charter granted by Queen Elizabeth I. It is located in a leafy 300-acre estate, encompassing much of Harrow on the Hill in north-west London. As stewards of many cherished traditions, today’s Harrovians follow in the footsteps of The Giants of Old, united by strength of character, lasting friendships and the desire to be of good influence. A full-boarding school for boys aged 13-18”
“Our daughter joined Sutton High in Year 7 and is very happy there. She came from a wonderful state primary school (which she loved, and we loved), so the bar had been set very high, but we have nothing but praise for the school. Our perception of the new head is that she is fantastic; hugely energetic, invested, communicative and very present, with a great vision for the school. Her staff are passionate about their roles as educators, are very approachable and really know their pupils and how to support and progress them. The school takes the students’ health and wellbeing very seriously, and the girls know that there is network of support available to them, should they need it. Academically, they have high expectations of the girls, and encourage them to work to the very best of THEIR ability. And this is where I think Sutton High perhaps differs from other schools in the area. Our daughter got a place at the local grammar school, but in the end, we chose to send her to Sutton High. Financially, it was a very big decision (especially as we have two daughters!), but my husband posed the question, ‘Where do you think she will thrive more?’, and my instinctive answer was Sutton High. The variety of opportunities in terms of sport, art, music, drama, STEM, trips etc are great and wide-ranging, and offer the chance for your daughter to find something that they really love and are good at. That’s a real bonus for the self-esteem when navigating the occasionally rocky path of teenager-hood! Overall, as our daughter trots happily down to the station each morning, looking ahead to a school day filled with lovely friends, ‘kind teachers and amazing food’ (her words!) and lots of interesting learning opportunities, we feel we made the right decision.”
