“What a lovely surprise. Our first visit was on a rainy day in early September on the way home from the hospital. Cheerful and helpful staff and customers. Enjoyed a portion of pasta bolognese, followed by a cake and coffee. We were "persuaded" to have the cake by two lovely Bangladeshi young ladies (they know a bit about rain) who ordered the chocolate cake between them - we had the vanilla. Good value. Excellent food. Cheerful and helpful staff and customers. This time one of the customers offered to buy us cups of tea each, and a muffin (where else would that happen) Worth a visit particularly on the way from the hospital to the station.”

“Regular stayer. Pretty much faultless. The rooms are spotless and the housekeeping ladies do an excellent job turning a room around even in busy times. Front of house is a bit dated now but the service provided by the staff is excellent very happy to accommodate even the most tiresome of visitors. Nothing is too small or big for all the staff who are very attentive and have a great positive attitude. Jesvil is very good as the manager, and has his staff/colleages are a tribute to him. “Cracking little supermarket, sells everything you might need at prices not unreasonable for a Cornershop. Much bigger than it looks, too. Has its own bakery for fresh bread, but the cakes are bought in. I’ve not tried the butchers, but the cold meats and cheeses are just what you might expect: lots of choice for Mediterranean stuff.”
