Quality restaurant experience in Croydon

“I thought I’d share my thoughts following my third (and longest) stay at Latitude. I got to know about the apartment block through friends who recognise that I needed a longer-term solution for staying in London for my work. My main home is in Spain. However I’m frequently in London so I decided that I would take a longer term lease. The apartment is perfect for me, from its positioning, (close enough to the station and town), to its general physical appointment. It’s in beautiful condition and if ever there have been tiny inevitable niggles the apartments management have pretty much fixed them there and then on the day that help was required. I find everybody associated with the building to be really pleasant and helpful. I can’t recommend this place any higher.”

“Finally an outstanding chicken kutsu curry in Croydon! The food was absolutely delicious and very large portions. I could smell the freshly cut cucumbers from my chicken bibimbap. The lady at the till was really nice and we will definitely go there again.”

“We came here for my friends 40th! We were placed in one of the cosy booths upstairs. Such a lovely quirky restaurant. The waiters were very friendly and served us straight away. Good was delicious especially the steak! Cooked to perfection! Prices really reasonable. We all had a great time and the live singer was a great touch too.”

“Great place if you want to have a quick sandwich, salad or a wrap. The service is excellent and you have plenty of options to customise your food. Also, the place has seating inside and the vegetables & meat they use look really fresh. You should definitely give this place a try next time you are around.”

“My secret to a perfect day: double egg, bacon,onion and mushroom sandwich with a drizzle of brown sauce...The two brothers are proud in what they do - hard to find these days... and ask for runny eggs. My mouth is watering while typing although I just had a toasted BLT(on the diet - new years resolution. Still asked to throw a runny egg in it.)”

“The one on Ruskin Parade us closed. Perhaps s change of name or shut for good. There's another one on London Road with the same name. There's Terra House, a Romanian shop and bakery on Brighton Road on the left hand side as we face the North before the Bridge and Nuevo Ponte Restaurant.”

“No longer Aqua. Noto Italian restaurant and café. My mixed grill was very good and I was full. Wife had seabass and said it was tasty. They are going to have jazz and r n b lunchtimes in the near future so give it a try and a follow.”

“Had not been to this cafe for a while, due to being away. Hasn't lost its touch. Went in a few times this week. Had my usual toast, poached egg and salad. The chef is brilliant and the atmosphere is tranquil I would recommend this place to anyone The kısır was delightful and the Adana and chicken shish was spot on and I was very impressed.”

“We are visiting Croydon and visited Thai Express at Boxpark as we love Thai food. The pad-Thai was delicious. As it is express they have a clever straightforward menu. Waiting time for cooking fresh was around 8 minutes which was a good time whilst we walked around Boxpark. The atmosphere was unique at Boxpark. Better go and visit to experience it.”

“This restaurant is more than twice the distance of my local one but so worth the extra travel time. The dim sum was exceptional, very high quality and well made. It was also very good value compared to the nearest biggest dim sum restaurant. An unexpected added bonus was the Saturday 1pm raffle which was good fun and very generous of the restaurant. Staff and service was great too. No dedicated parking is the only negative. I highly recommend and I will be returning again soon.”

He made sure everything was perfect – checking in during the meal, recommending great menu items, and even making sure our order came out just right. You could tell he genuinely cared about creating a great customer experience. It’s rare to see service with such a personal touch. “LOVE IT best pizza takeaway near me i don't always have pizza but when i do I NEVER go elsewhere! i swear by this place - the one near me is so great i've even tried some further out. i am eating a margarita as we speak its so good. its warm its fresh its yum - its not too chewy or dry. it comes with my FAV FREE dip, its flavourful, the cheese tastes so nice. i always get the make your own as its worth the value (i add on SO many toppings) or i get margarita. i don't eat at other pizza places they're too greasy and this one isn't! love it id eat a pizza from here all day if i had to and i would even collab with them LMAO thats how much i love fireaway. ask my friends i always feed them these pizzas at parties and they have vegan and halal options for my besties :) nice seating area, lovely staff - i met the chef :) very sweet they even gave me FREE pizza once thank you ”

“It was Lunar New Year and so I decided I'd try Wei Dao and I took some fortune cookies with me too. The ladies working there were really nice. It was not busy on Friday night, I encourage people to dine in and ditch the takeaways. It's reasonably priced and had some fun pop tunes playing in the background.”

“I’m a regular customer at Domino’s and I can honestly say I’ve never been disappointed. The shop is always spotless and beautifully kept, and the staff are absolutely lovely—so helpful and welcoming every single time. They always greet me with the biggest smile, which really makes a difference. As for the pizzas? Perfect, every time. Hot, fresh, and delicious. Couldn’t ask for better service or food. Highly recommend!”

“Very nice hotel. Is not expensive but the services are very good for the money. The rooms are clean, every day the cleaners change the bed sheets, towels and consumables. The rooms have big LCD TV, air conditioning, hair dryer, kettle, mini fridge, safe and microwave oven. The room doors are locked with electronic latches wich sometimes doesn't work properly because of magnetic cards, but the problem is very well known by the hotel employees and they will change your card without any problems. Parking is not free and you can park at the basement of the hotel or into Ibis hotel parking.”
