“I have received absolutely outstanding service since joining Loughton Leisure Centre. From the very beginning, Sharon, one of the managers, has been nothing short of amazing. I initially enquired online and was quickly contacted by Sharon, who followed up with a phone call and arranged a tour. I suffer with excruciating pain and often find gyms intimidating, but Sharon’s kind and genuine nature instantly put me at ease. At one point, I became tearful during our conversation, and she didn’t just brush it off — she listened, handed me a tissue, and gave me a reassuring hug. There was never any pressure to join; instead, I felt supported and understood. That made all the difference. Since signing up, I’ve been attending regularly, and the atmosphere continues to be welcoming. Becca, another member of staff, always greets members with a big smile and even remembers names — such a simple but meaningful touch that makes you feel valued. Both Sharon and Becca are a true credit to the Centre. I’ve already recommended Loughton Leisure Centre to friends and family so they too can experience the top-class service and supportive environment. Since joining, my pain has become more manageable, and I genuinely look forward to coming in. Thank you to Sharon, Becca, and the whole team for all you do for the community — it really makes a difference!”

“A good morning always starts well when I visit Gail's shop. No matter if I am there to collect my bread order, a light lunch or just in need of a coffee, the staff there is always nice and ready to serve you with a big smile. Highly recommended.”

“Really impressed with the quality of the food. Poached chicken tarragon ciabatta was very good. Soft chicken, top flavours. Turkish ciabatta (lamb sausage, ham and egg) was brilliant. Very different. Both ciabattas were well filled. Very good prices too, you're looking about 50% cheaper than molans for as good if not better quality. Staff were great and really food with the baby.”

“Been using Onami for years. Great food at a great price. Good Sushi isn't cheap, but i always find Onami very reasonable. Big Fans of their Futomaki and the Tempura veg. Keep up the great work guys! Five stars.”

“Lovely atmosphere from the moment we walked in. Food was delicious and the wait time was very reasonable we didnt even feel like we were waiting. We were served by some really lovely ladies who made us feel very comfortable. There was a live singer while we were there which was exciting. Everything on the menu is halal and they were happy to serve me a mocktail version of any of the drinks on the menu!”

“We held our work Christmas Party here last night (38 people!). I can't say enough good things about it. From the whole booking process through to the brilliant service on the night, the team at TD&H did an exceptional job. The food was delicious and came out perfectly timed (not easy with a party of 38), the drinks never stopped flowing, there were plenty of staff to look after us and (icing on the cake) there was great live entertainment after the meal, which meant we felt like it was a proper party. Thanks so much to the team - we are really grateful for a wonderful evening.”

Located on the High Road, this charming spot has been a local favorite since 1985, and it’s clear why. The vibe is warm, inviting, and effortlessly stylish, blending cozy and upscale perfectly – great for a relaxed midday meal. The menu is packed with options, from hearty sandwiches to fresh salads and comforting classics. I went for the Chicken Escalope sandwich, and it was on point – tender, perfectly cooked chicken in a soft granary roll with crisp lettuce, cucumber, and a zesty lemon mayo that made every bite pop. My buddy chose the lasagna, served piping hot with golden fries and a fresh side salad – classic comfort food done right. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared, with generous portions and bold flavors. The staff were a real highlight – super friendly, attentive, and full of warmth. Joseph, in particular, stood out, greeting us with a genuine smile and keeping everything running smoothly, even as the place hummed with lunchtime diners. Our drinks arrived quickly, perfectly complementing the meal, and the service was flawless throughout. Molens Brasserie is an awesome spot for lunch, whether you’re dining solo, with friends, or with family. The quality, atmosphere, and stellar team make it a standout in Loughton.”

“Great food, very friendly staff. My parents have been a customer of the New Hong Kong for the best part of 50 years and I always make a point of using them when I visit Loughton. There seems to be a good reason for the phone being engaged often when you phone in an order because everyone wants the best Chinese food in Loughton. Cash only. Not a problem. Cash is King.”

“We held my son's 4th birthday here on Sunday and the whole experience from start to finish was brilliant. The owners are so helpful, organised and make everything very easy. On the day I didn't have to think of anything but bringing the cake and balloons - they served a great buffet for the kids, cut the cake and packed it into the party bags. My son and his friends had an amazing time together and I can't thank the team here enough. Highly recommend.”

“Just wandered in after a lovely big walk in Epping forest with a good old friend, and I have to say, what a fantastic weatherspoons! Ordered a small freshly battered cod and chips with mushy peas and a leffe blonde to wash it down (lunchtime deals of course! £6.99?! Can’t say fairer than that!) Can confidently say it was the best weatherspoons food I’ve ever had, fish was perfectly cooked, fantastically crispy batter whilst maintaining a juicy succulent cod piece in the middle, and might I say generous portions for a small plate! Perfectly poured crisp pint to top it all off, what more could you ask for? The last post? It’s my FIRST choice in Loughton let me tell you that much :)”
