We just stopped here for a quick coffee and it was so good, the espresso is really easy drinking and BIG, if you want a decent sized espresso this is the place to go! Also the guy making the coffee of potentially the nicest man in all SE London coffee places, he's so friendly. We'll definitely be back here for drinks, snacks and music another time.”

“A lovely little cafe I came across as being new to the area and on maternity leave. The surrounding park is gorgeous and I often pit stop at Sassis for some iced coffee and a snack :) The owner, Wayne, was super accommodating for my little one’s first birthday and let us reserve a few tables for our family & friends. The staff were amazing, very friendly & helpful throughout the day! Food & drink, as always, was great too :) Definitely recommend this lovely little cafe to anyone, we’ll be back again soon!”

“What an incredible find! If you're looking for genuine Italian food made with passion, this is the place. The homemade lasagna, straight from a family recipe, was absolute perfection—rich, flavourful, and clearly made with love. The wine list was superb, and our server's recommendation was the perfect pairing. We finished with a fantastic dessert that was the ideal end to the meal. “Ordered some food for take away, first time ordering from here and was recommended by my friend that the breakfast here was really good. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, as I wasn't sure what to order and what I could get as take away. We got the pancakes nutella and toasty mediterranean. The food looked amazing and tasted great, would definitely recommend it. I also overheard another customer asking for their eggs to be changed to well done and the staff immediately redid their egg for them without a moments hesitation, thumbs up from me. The cafe was very comfortable and had a welcoming environment. I even noticed a corner with a doll house for children to keep themselves occupied if need be. Edit: went back again for the Turkish sandwich and ice vanilla latte, such a taste bud delight”

“I have been to this pub a few times.since the new manager took over (i think he has been managing for around 8 months now). They are a very friendly community based team. Today for example a lady in a wheel chair was outside and asked me.to let.thr staff kmow she needed help. Thr manager immediately let.me tell him even though he was really busy. Came out straight away and mads the lady feel special and supported. He even tried to find a comfy seat available for her and one that was not high. When I have been here before the manager was again very chatty and explained he wamts customers.tk feel special and valued. He certainly has achieved this. The ither staff also are friendly and always approachable. You will be served here quickly as they make customers a priority.the food is amazing too.”

“Part of the St. Martin's Hotel experience, this lovely little Cafe is connected and situated next door. The ambiance is relaxing and chill. There is a nice selection of coffees as well as a small selection of baked goods and sandwiches. The cappuccinos that I had during my stay were delicious!
