“One of the best cheap eats in docklands. The food is well served and service is very good. The decor is nice with some live music gigs from time to time. A good place to check out if you are around the area esp. during the 2012 games.”

“I’ve found my favourite breakfast spot. Having moved to the area recently I came here for the first time for some breakfast. The menu was great - there were so many amazing and healthy options to choose from. Similarly, they offer delicious smoothie options. My breakfast came out beautifully presented and tasted amazing. One of the best I’ve had in a long time. The service was super prompt and friendly too! Can’t wait to come back!”

“Clearly a dog friendly and pleasant place to come and sit and have your coffee and cake. Plenty of sockets for those with laptops and ‘working from home’ The staff were extremely knowledgeable and helpful when it came to coffee. The day that we came in we would have liked a slightly better selection of pastries as some options were already sold out. I guess that’s what you get when you are popular. Overall a positive experience and would return.”

“Always a warm welcome. Food is very reasonably priced . Light lunches nice cakes and tea or coffee. It was a perfect place to meet up with my wife each week after her lessons at Rochester adult education centre and always warm and cosy during the cold winter spell. Staff are very friendly and caring.”

“This corner cafe has been around for quite a few years now. However, it recently changed name (and possibly ownership). It remains great choice nonetheless! Note to self: I should be going there more often. The staff are friendly. There is a good selection of savoury items, reasonably priced. Laptops are not allowed, which is OK, as there are a lot of books to read and even buy. Halfway between Ealing Broadway station and South Ealing.”

“Fariba always does a really amazing job, and i can always trust her to make a good decision on giving me a beautiful hairstyle even when i dont particularly know what i want. Im really never disappointed. Keratin treatments and hairdye are what i come in for most often, but she also cuts my hair for me and its a really nice atmosphere because she truly loves what she does. Heres what i got done lately with her! Bleached from scratch :) i love it”

“I love this cinema. The staff are so friendly and accommodating! Nothing is too much trouble for them. They even offered store my mother's electric wheelchair in the staff room and I have made friends who have been able to safely store valuables too. The staff make it a very warm and welcoming environment where everyone feels very safe. There are rules but they are for the safety and enjoyment of others. I had a great experience at the wicked sing a long as they turned it into an interactive experience too. I love going to the occasional marathon and think it's great that they send someone out for security during the breaks or even if my friend wants a cigarette break during the film and lock the doors during the films. It attracts a lot of friendly people and I have made good friends there that I now go with to other films and marathon. Even strangers offer to help my mother up and down the stairs and try and buy her drinks and snacks from the bar so she is comfortable. I fully recommend.”

“Victoria was such a helpful host at Hurst Farm. I rented all 4 rooms for my wedding party in preparation for my wedding held nearby and I also got ready there in the morning. Victoria was not only incredibly helpful in answering any queries quickly before the booking, but also great once we were there. The rooms were all lovely and the gardens were beautiful - perfect for a morning photoshoot! She provided us a buffet breakfast on the morning of the wedding when we were all getting ready, and she cooked up a delicious cooked English for everyone on the Sunday morning in her kitchen which was such a nice touch. Would definitely recommend booking Hurst Farm!”

“The food we great and the location is in a fun neighborhood of London. There was a possibly Italian waitress who was amazing and so were Jose, Monica, and Delia. Honestly, the entire floor team was top notch and working together like an engine.”

“Oh my God, what an absolutely wonderful place to go with your dog. I felt immediately right at home. The staff are extremely friendly, and dogs are made to feel like total royalty. There’s a cosy cafe area in the main entrance, and downstairs, a doggie boutique and salon. I took my Pekingese who was hugely fussed over - which made he and I feel very special. My friend and I had coffee and within moments of arriving, we felt we belonged. Cafe are very good, especially for London W1. I have no experience of their grooming service though, and I’m unaware of the costs involved. We will return again. It’s a great little place to meet up, and have a coffee/tea with a friend, say, after work. Truly, I can’t praise this place enough. Well done ladies.”

The seating is super comfortable with sturdy tables and plenty of plugs, making it perfect for working on a laptop. The ambience is spot on - relaxed, with just the right background music. “Such a wonderful place. We go regularly. The team are delightful and always offer such a warm welcome. They make my French Bulldog feel like he’s Top Dog! The owner is incredibly knowledgeable on dog behaviours and is approachable should you need her time and advise. Oh and the coffee is fantastic!”

“Family owned since 1988? You can tell, as they are so rightly proud of this well run cafe. Clean and plentiful seating (40+ seats), with clean toilet for patrons. Wide-ranging menu. Ordered the ‘set 4’ breakfast, and which was served piping hot and was absolutely delicious! Had more breakfasts that I can count at cafes and this was one of the best. Staff welcoming and friendly and engage in conversation readily. Will be sure to visit again next time I’m in North Finchley.”

“This is one of our go-to cafes in the neighbourhood. It's a friendly, independent family-run local business where you are always greeted with a friendly smile and a warm welcome! We love it here and are very grateful to have found this little gem in our area. The hot chocolate is delicious and I really enjoy their Crepes and smoothies too, while my husband is a big fan of the coffee. But most of all we like the cosy, homely atmosphere and speaking to the lovely family that runs the cafe. Would definitely recommend!”
