If for some reason my flight was delayed and I had to collect my cat the next day, they are very understanding and reasonable. The owner, Nicola, is kind and approachable. My cats do well here. “An Authentic English Pub! This is a real English pub! With more than 300 years of history it has many stories to tell. Highway men drank at this pub. WWI wounded Aussies at the local hospital drank at this pub. Royalty visited this pub. It has real history! Low ceilings. Cosy sitting areas. Well stocked bar. Sunday lunch was excellent! Real pub food! Roast lamb and veg was as good as it gets. But what makes this pub stand out is the people. Wonderful serving staff. Bar manager was attentive, calm, talking effortlessly to every guest. Every one there was a local. Elderly people in their 80’s having a traditional Sunday roast. Listening to the locals was a pleasure. Endless stories. Lots of laughter. These are the real English people you won’t get in a fancy London pub. This is a pub where you are welcome. Just when you think it can’t get any better an “Arthur Daly” lookalike turned up and took over the conversation!!! THE KINGS ARMS IS A GREAT ENGLISH PUB! Worth the visit!”

“Thought I would get a bacon butty ended up having a full English. I used to live in the area but had travelled up from the south coast and needed a break. The cafe is a simple place with very comfy chairs and plenty of parking near by. If you need to be close there is a park and display outside if you don’t mind a small walk parking is free. The breakfast was great, real mushrooms and great bacon. It came with a mug of tea and toast all for under a tenner. Service was pleasant the staff were friendly.”

“A real English pub owned and run by the managers in the Center of Harefield. Filled with locals who make you feel welcomed and staff that go the extra mile. The food is excellent, a balance of traditional English pub food and Asian cuisine that are perfect. Drinks prices are probably the best around and you can sit around the fire or tuck yourself away on the sofa. Highly recommended.”
