“I cannot rate Longcroft high enough! Daisy is an absolute dream person to leave your furry friends with while you are away. She is so nice and easy to deal with and the service she provides is fantastic. We had regular pictures and updates on how our two were doing while we were away, which is so reassuring. We have two young, indoor cats who had never been away from home before. So were a bit worried about how they would adapt but we need not have worried! Daisy won them over in no time and they had a lovely holiday, while we had peace of mind to enjoy ours.”

“I visited Wood Green Vue Cinema with my daughter. We came for a lunchtime screening, and the cinema was almost empty—just three other people besides us. The film was great, the auditorium was clean, and everything worked perfectly. I had read comments about poor lighting and sound, but we didn’t experience any of that. “Was looking for a local sushi place that doesn't use mayo in all their sushi and decided to give this place a go after a trip to the cinema. There was plenty of choice and at an affordable price and we opted for the 28 piece maki platter which was more than enough for 2 people and cost £14 The order was made fresh and took 5-10 minutes to prepare. There was a few selection of Japanese grocery goods and snacks and I was happy to see they had sweet soy sauce which I have been unable to find at a good price The sushi was very well made and tasted great There is a minimum spend of £5 to use card”

“I booked over the phone as I needed the vehicle to have a baby car seat for my six week old granddaughter. We also had a lot of luggage and other baby related items. The booking experience was excellent, very efficient and helpful. The vehicle provided was perfect for our trip to the airport and the baby seat was just what was needed to safely transport the baby. They are always on time or early, always suited and booted, always have a drink waiting for you in the cleanest of cars. The tracking options to see where your driver is located is extremely helpful. I recently had the best driver I have ever had, Andrei. He was extremely kind, helpful and professional. I honestly could not rate him highly enough. “Wonderful. That probably doesn't do it justice. The location is idyllic. The house is gorgeous and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. We sat outside as it was a lovely day with a spectacular view across the valley. We went for the set menu. It's not cheap but actually it's not unreasonable for the quantity and quality of the food. A few surprises (ants - deliberately - on the sushi) which were utterly delicious. We had different choices and every one of them was fantastic. Service was brilliant - friendly and informative - and the whole experience was unrushed, relaxed and sublime. Couldn't have had a better celebration of our anniversary. I also can't reccommend it enough.”

“I recently went to a Michelin Japanese and I can say I’d rather not go there and just spent the money with Obon instead. Yes the menu isn’t extensive but everything is done perfectly and the quality of food is amazing too. I loved the yakitori skewers, they were so juicy and tender (I wasn’t particularly thrilled by the quail eggs tho). The sushi and sashimi were fresh, both grilled eel and sea bass were also cooked just right and melting in the mouth. And the starters such as takoyaki, tempura, even the salad and pickles were delicious too. I have already been there twice in 2 weeks and I would recommend anyone in and around the area to visit (be sure to book as the restaurant is not big). An improvement would be the desserts, there’s not a lot of choices and the dorayaki seemed shop bought and microwaved so it was half warm and half cold (but I still went back so don’t let that put you off too)”

All the food is delicious but the mezze platter and lamb shawarma are highly recommended as you can try lots of authentic options in small quantities. Our favourites included the pistachio hummus and ghormeh sabzi. The lamb was divine and accompanied by the gorgeous fluffy saffron rice. Can’t wait to go back!”
