“All the way from Essex, we were staying in a local hotel for the weekend and decided we wanted Veg Thai food. I must say we have had Thai in many places, but this place was so authentic, and felt homemade. Highly recommend the Pad Thai Noodles, Tom Yum, and Tom Kha soup. Generous Portions & Amazing Staff.”

“I've eating here many times and the food has always been on point. I've attended with friends and family and neither have been disappointed. The food always tastes good and there is a variety to choose from. We mainly go for the meze as it has a mixture of dips, fish and meat dishes. The portions are reasonable sized.”

“What can I say, but WOW! Compared to other "coffee shops" in the area, it has a more extensive menu. Compared to cafes in general, the food was fresh and flavoursome, the staff were warm and friendly and the atmosphere was cordial and relaxing. The tables were very clean and even shiny. Nothing to fault this for, and it even has a garden you can sit in.”

“Visited Mayhill’s for the first time last night and my friends and I absolutely loved it! The food was exceptional, the tiger prawns were hands down the best we’ve ever eaten! The drinks were delicious, the service was excellent. The DJ and belly dancer were great but we would’ve liked more entertainment for a Saturday night but other than that we’d highly recommend it.”

“I thought I was dreaming when I saw a 7 inch pizza for £2.50! The price and quality of the pizza is phenomenal. The moment I stepped foot into this utopia of a restaurant, I was greeted with the welcoming and fragrant smell of freshly made pizza. I placed my order with the charming and charismatic owner who kindly assisted me. I took a seat and within a few minutes my freshly made pizza was ready to be eaten. I've never quite had or seen a pizza as good as this! The best around town! You wont regret coming here to eat!”

“Wonderful service and delicious food we had this Sunday evening. We had the whole restaurant to ourselves. After speaking to the owner Sunday is a very very quiet time. I would highly recommend this wonderful establishment. They do not have a drinks licence so if you want alcy, bring your own. Fish tikka as a starter was amazing. Everything else delicious.”

“I have been ordering take away from here for many years. My go to dish is Chicken Madras. I’ve tasted this dish in numerous other places and it has NEVER tasted as good as curry leaf. All other dishes are great too. The food is fresh, non greasy and of a very high standard, especially compared to what I have experienced elsewhere. The owner himself is so pleasant and friendly, holding good relationships with all new and existing customers. I would highly recommend to anyone. 5 stars all round”

“Only had a tenner cash - asked for their suggestion for food which understandably is a big ask. I got a delicious sweet and sour main as well as a fried rice for just under ten pounds. The food was amazing, service was amazing for accepting my request, and last of all I spent no more than 5 minutes waiting for my food. Good £10 well spent.”

“This small mom and pop take-out shop serves good Chinese food that will not alarm or confuse local appetites. Been back a few times and it has not disappointed yet. However they only accept cash - no cards. Looks like they do a decent amount of delivery too. Friendly staff.”

“Good trad style (deep fryer) Fish and Chip shop, also has a grill so can have kebab if you fancy, Fish was amazing. Staff are cool, we travel past 2 chip shops to go to this one, also takes cash payment on deliveries.”

The website was super easy to navigate, and one of the few places that still let you pay in cash for delivery. I had the cheesy garlic bread slices and a plain cheese pizza, both very delicious, generous amount of cheese and a good size for the price. Will defo order again, thank you !!”

“So my family decided they wanted burgers and chicken wings for dinner and instead of going to the same place we always go to we tried king of taste for the first time. Drove down there and ordered 8 chicken wings (grilled) salad and fries. Quarter pounder and half pounder both with fries.staff /owner was really helpful and friendly Waited 10 - 12 minutes for it to be freshly cooked and took it home. Everyone really enjoyed the smokey grille flavour, no greasy bottom to the packaging and everything went down a treat. Will definatley order again 5*”
