“Charming restaurant less than 5 mins from Surbiton Rail station and opposite Sainsbury’s. The old Post Office building has been repurposed as a restaurant, fitted out in a sustainable way with genuine Turkish designs and materials. My server had a Masters in restaurant design so was knowledgeable and happy to point out some of the features. The coffee was excellent and the Nutella and sea-salt cookie was something I’d never tasted before and had a light and delicate texture. Good access for wheelchairs and my go to coffee stop in Surbiton when on foot or a motorcycle or bicycle with parking right outside the door.”

“I wish I could give more stars for the service here. I booked the French tarte afternoon tea for my mum’s birthday in august, and the chef carefully curated alternatives to cater to my mum’s nut allergy. We were made to feel so comfortable, the service was the best and it felt as though our waiter could not do enough! We were also encouraged to take our time and enjoy every bite. The flavours were amazing and the homemade jam was so good! Will definitely be returning.”

“What a wonderful group Christmas meal we have just had. The food was generous and delicious. The printing of nameplates with food choice of each guest was genius. “Most people who ride the tube the destination is the area around the station, but my mother and I back in Nov 2025 traveled to Surbiton Station solely for one of its Cafe Nero stalls. See, as part of our trip to London I wanted to do as many ethical Harry Potter things as possible, and while the ownership has changed, this Cafe Nero is the exact same location that was used to film one of the opening scenes of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. I think I recreated the photo very well. I also ordered a hot chocolate and it was amazing. Thank you to the barista for not minding turning your work into a photo shoot.”

“Just had an excellent meal from Tasty Bite on Surbiton Road. The food was fresh, flavorful, and delivered quickly. I've tried their peri-peri grilled chicken with coloured rice , and they've both been fantastic. The staff is always friendly and generous especially (Hamidi), and it's a great spot for a delicious takeaway. They are open until 1:00 am. Highly recommend!"”

“I ordered a set breakfast here, they were happy to substitute mushrooms for beans; it arrived quickly and was well cooked and a generous size. The service was good, the only sad thing was that the place was empty apart from me. Recommend this place if you want a good, honest breakfast, the rest of the menu looks pretty extensive too.”
