Italian restaurant in Surbiton

“Charming restaurant less than 5 mins from Surbiton Rail station and opposite Sainsbury’s. The old Post Office building has been repurposed as a restaurant, fitted out in a sustainable way with genuine Turkish designs and materials. My server had a Masters in restaurant design so was knowledgeable and happy to point out some of the features. The coffee was excellent and the Nutella and sea-salt cookie was something I’d never tasted before and had a light and delicate texture. Good access for wheelchairs and my go to coffee stop in Surbiton when on foot or a motorcycle or bicycle with parking right outside the door.”

This pizza took me straight back home with its nostalgic flavors and that special touch that only authentic Persian-style pizza can bring. “Just stopped on a Friday lunchtime to have some pizzas, they were delicious, on par with pizzas we’ve had in Italy, the best pizza we’ve had so far in surbiton/london! Highly highly reccomend!! A wonderful surprise find for morning coffee with "pastries". Good value for money and quick service. We ate in, relaxing at the window bar seating, happily watching the rain! I eat here quite often simply because they make really tasty Amercian style pizza. Nice clean dough, which they make in house. Very friendly staff & owners. Much better than your usual clap trap Dominoes, Pappa John or Pizza Hut. Support local, support independent, support these guys.”

“Planet Pizza is by far the best Pizza I have had and it never fails. So consistently excellent their deep pan pizza is fluffy and pillowy whilst having a crisp bottom and outer crust. Super fresh ingredients and their flavour combinations are excellent”

“These guys deserve a medal- 3am after my long shift finished and delivered within 20 minutes the loveliest thin crust pizza! I added my own toppings and they were so generous and the pizza tasted so fresh the dough was soft and not greasy atall like other places you expect. My partner said the chicken strips were moist and not greasy atall and thoroughly enjoyed! Will definitely be reordering regularly. Amazing quality for the price and time!”
