“Had a meal here recently to celebrate a birthday with friends and had a pleasant experience. Elegant interiors and friendly staff greeted us and we were led to our table. It was a bit busy but we didn't feel rushed or that the place was bursting. Good wine, delicious hot chocolate and since it was a Sunday afternoon, we decided to get the seafood starter lamb and seafood roast. The food was delicious and elegantly plated and looked like art. The courgette fries were a bit disappointing though as they were soggy and the coating had all vanished so it felt like we were having raw courgette slices. That tiny blip aside, the afternoon went perfect and the cheesecake at the end made it even more memorable.”

“Lovely coffee shop really close to the station, not the place to be sitting on your laptop (my mistake) it’s hustle and bustle and friendly customer service is great if you’re just stopping by and having a good catchup. But wouldn’t stay for long as it’s a tiny space. Definitely recommend for good coffee and quality baked goods. Had the blackberry danish was so good I forgot to take a photo!”

“My car broke down in Beckenham. Brian was driving past after finishing work and asked if he could help. I said the AA was on the way but he insisted on taking a look and trying to help move the car somewhere safer (I was at a junction). He explained the auxiliary belt was worn out and got his colleague to bring starter cables to help move it. In the end I got a call from the AA saying they were 5 mins away, but I wanted to leave a comment here to say how impressed I was.”

“I hired a car from Chesham - booked it yesterday afternoon and picked it up this morning. The car had been cleaned (inside and out) and was immaculate. Fiona at reception was really friendly and helpful - I'd also been impressed by her the previous day whilst sorting out the details of the hire. Found the rate to be very reasonable, especially considering I was hiring the vehicle over the Bank Holiday weekend. All in all, top service, top car and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to potential hirees! Thank you Chesham!”

She, along with her coworker sitting next to her, made the experience feel comfortable and welcoming. Jenny came across as approachable and professional, which reassured me that I was in expert hands. I felt like nothing could go wrong. She even gave me helpful tips on how to care for my nails afterward. I truly felt cared for throughout the entire experience. “We wanted to taste some wines to select for our wedding and were unfortunately unable to make any of the special wedding tasting sessions but Jess at Majestic Beckenham went out of her way to be accommodating. We had a little tasting session at the weekend where she had already selected wines she thought we’d like based on what we’d told her. She guided us through the different wine options, advised us on quantities to purchase and was just generally fantastic. Amazing service especially as we weren’t even ordering the wine through the Beckenham store as our wedding is in Leicester (we also had great service when we called to place the order with the Leicester store). “Over the course of many years we took our cats here to be treated, always had great availability for emergency’s and whenever you would call the lovely ladies on reception give some great advice while you wait for your appointment etc. the whole team are so lovely welcoming & friendly. We recently had to say goodbye to one of our cats and the team were just amazing In making us feel relaxed and comfort we were doing the right thing. The lovely receptionist even asked the delivery man outside could he be as quiet as he can because our elderly cat was just inside the door waiting for her appointment. “Ordered food from here a few times and I've never been disappointed. We've either gone there in person and ordered takeaway or ordered online for delivery. Every time the food has been faultless, loved the octopus and the unagi. Large choice of dishes. Prices a little above average but definitely worth it. We usual order a mixed sashimi set, a mixed sushi set and a couple of other dishes and for two of us it's more than enough. Last time we ordered via deliveroo, took about 30 minutes. The staff are always helpful and friendly.Definitely worth trying the food here.”

The Levant grilled and marinated chicken was tender and packed with flavor, perfectly complemented by the fresh coleslaw, crisp lettuce, and a sweet yet spicy honey sriracha sauce. The homemade chips were crispy and seasoned to perfection, and the salad with balsamic vinegar added a refreshing balance to the meal. I also appreciated the dips being served separately, which allowed me to customize each bite. A truly satisfying meal—I will definitely be back!”

It’s a cute café, decent food, very welcoming staff (they probably know half of the people who come in here as they seem to be regulars) ☺️ We enjoyed our food and the portions were generous! It’s the little things that I truly appreciate, the decor, the way the food was laid on the plate and the atmosphere in the cafe. Overall, would recommend!”

“Had superb vegetarian focaccia (mozzarella, sun-dried tomato, aubergine, olives). Cooked to perfection, crispy outside, melty inside. Generous portion and very reasonable prices. They also sell authentic Italian products - pasta, oils, pasta sauces. Also delicious looking cakes, which I didn't try, as focaccia was substantial! Friendly, helpful staff.”
