“My partner and I were recommended to try this restaurant for my birthday yesterday.(6.8.25 Jamaica independence day. So glad we did! It was a great experience from the moment we walked through the door.The food was AMAZING, great taste, flavour, presentation. BTW my partner is fussy when it comes to food, especially being a fellow Jamaican who can cook, he found no fault and was complimentary from the moment he tasted his starter through to the desert. Service 10/10 Environment / atmosphere 10/10 Drinks 10/10 Will definitely be back. Thank you all for a fantastic evening.”

“Really Impressed with this hotel. Room was really spacious, lots of plug sockets dotted around, plenty of room to store clothes and a large desk if you needed to work. WiFi also great. Spacious bathroom with shower and bath with toiletries. Pressure in the shower not great in the evening but fine in the morning. Good working telly which appeared to be brand new. Room was also really quiet - didn’t hear any other guests or noise. I had parking for free as I booked directly with the hotel. I believe if you book through a third party it is £10 a day. Excellent location surrounded by lots of pubs, shops and local cafes. I didn’t eat here so can’t comment on the food. I did have a drink at the bar which was expensive as expected in a hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Can’t really fault it - and it was cheaper than the travelodge down the road!”

“The community rebuilt this park cafe and it is an excellent facility enjoyed by everyone who uses the park and Claygate Primary School. On a sunny weekend you will see many groups and families playing games, having fun, eating ice creams, with drinks etc. Food gets 4 stars only because it is not Michelin starred.”

“Wonderful little sushi restaurant in the middle of Woolwich despite the unprepossessing exterior. The food is excellent and freshly prepared, and the staff are super friendly. Good selection of sushi, as well as noodle and rice dishes. We dined in shortly after opening time, so it was very quiet.”

“Spectacular pizzeria (also tapas bar) in North London, stone-baked pizzas at 500°, perfect dough and high-quality ingredients. The tapas are better than many places in Spain, especially the garlic prawns. The place is tastefully designed, the decor, the lighting... and the music are also very cleverly chosen. The service is exquisite, they bring you what you ordered almost immediately, and the prices make it seem like you're not in London. THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!!!”

“Went Sunday night and it was quiet inside but the food did not disappoint at all. This will now become my goto Turkish even though I live close to yaprak in eastcote I think this is worth the 20 minute drive for the better food. Price is similar. I thought the seasoning and quality of the meat was better. Next time I am bringing my kids to see what they think but I think they will agree”

“Was in Uxbridge for an evening and after looking through various places, I came across this gem of a restaurant. Read through some of the reviews and decided to give it a try and wow the QUALITY of the food is top notch. Ordered spring rolls which had a heavenly taste to them, chicken tawouk with rice which was cooked to perfection with the chicken so soft and succulent and had a side of cheesy fries which were the best cheesy chips I've ever had. On top of all that, the two waitresses serving us were very warm and welcoming. 5 stars all round.”

“Abruzzo in London. I've found it now! I've been looking for a place to eat Arrosticini and I've found this newly open restaurant – Orfeo restaurant. The expectations were high as I am from the region of Abruzzo and I wanted to bring my friends to try Arrosticini. From the moment of the booking, all staff was exceptional. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Marco, the manager, made our dinner special. I felt I was in my home town in Abruzzo. My friends who are from different countries felt amazed by the warm Abruzzo welcoming. The food was fresh and so delicious. Finally, we ate the traditional Arrosticini served in a unique way. My vegetarian friend ate the traditional 'Pallotte Cace e Ove', she really loved it. The restaurant atmosphere was pleasant, ideal for a dinner with friends. A bonus, it is only two minutes walking from the overground. Orfeo restaurant lived up to my expectations. My friends and I will definitely come back soon. Highly recommend!”

“A real nice experience in Indian dining. Started off with the reviews of course and then the dining. The cider choice, was a koppaberg which was refreshing. Thr samosas in the chaat were complimented with channa aka chickpeas and vatiyon other accoutrements. Delicious. The murg tikka was quite good too but would have preferred fit bit more heat n the green chutney served with it. On to the main course with lamb saag and dal makhani with breads. Both ere well cooked and excellently spiced to provide a great end to the meal. Unfortunately no space for kulfi.”

“I’ve spent a wonderful evening dining at Gola with my italian friends. The menu proposes a real selection of italian dishes which are excellently reproduced and served in a surprising plate up, as you can see from the pictures. We finally get to try the famous Cacio & Pepe by Gola which didn’t disappoint me and my italian friends. Another must-try is the Orecchiette alle cime di rapa; and as starters the Focaccia, the Fried polenta and the Burrata. We also tasted a bottle of Southern Italian red wine which was kindly suggested by the staff, since the wine selection is pretty good and it was hard to make a choice. The staff and the service in general were very welcoming in respect of true italian tradition. I totally recommend this place to everyone that appreciate the real italian cuisine and culture, for a dinner between friends, family or with a loved one. The menu also proposes vegan options and the restaurant is children and pet friendly. I will surely come back to have again some wonderful pasta and to try the meat-based dishes which sounded amazing too.”

“We were out fairly late around the Leicester Square–Chinatown area. We were looking for a suitable restaurant, but many were already closed, kirchen closed or looked empty. Luckily, we ended up at Tokyo Diner. Even though we didn’t share much of a common language, we quickly got a table upstairs and bottles of Sapporo beer to quench our thirst. My Chicken Katsu Curry was tasty, and my companion’s Udon noodle dish was excellent. The restaurant has a slightly worn feel, but it was clean. This is a place that serves good Japanese food at a reasonable price.”

“BBQ ribs are melted, it served with nice sauce but more than barbecue sauce. It’s the reason I visited, and it made me feel the pay check worth the price in every way. The drink and food served shortly, and I really admire it much in mid of the day, especially in the afternoon. It’s hard to imagine I can have nice barbecue away from business area and just minutes walk from home. It was a quick and proper and memorable dining experience to me.”

“We had an amazing experience on Saturday night with the 7-course tasting menu. Every detail is thought of, the staff is extremely friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. They even designed a vegetarian tasting menu on request for my wife. Although they didn't do anything specific for the wedding anniversary we were celebrating there (slightly surprising), you receive small "extras" throughout the meal, amuse-bouche, palate cleanser, little pastry individually wrapped to take away. All in all, a great evening.”
