The bacon risotto is absolutely delicious and easily one of the best dishes on the menu - creamy, comforting, and full of flavour. The starters could be a little stronger, but everything else more than makes up for it. The service is friendly and unhurried, and the overall vibe feels authentically Italian. A lovely local gem that always makes you feel welcome.”

“Arguably the best pub in Putney. Independently owned pub with a constantly rotating selection of great beers and ales, friendly service, and board games available which is always nice! There is a small beer garden if you are a smoker, but I wouldn’t bank on getting a seat. Also, staff are always friendly and helpful in recommending a good drink!”

My only complaint is that there isn't a free cash machine in there because its cash only, I have to go to the local tesco just to get some out and have a drink”

“In Irish History, Tir na Nog was a magical land where everyone lived forever in wisdom and joy. This one is pretty decent and they have tatyos that the mythical one probably didnt. A real Irish pub. Go west!”

“Lovely little village pub on outskirts of Epping Forest. Very friendly service, nice atmosphere, Good food, we had two ploughman’s with cheddar, blue cheese and ham which were nice and fresh, two pints of Moretti all for £37 which we thought very reasonable. Good parking, plenty outside seating.”

“The nicest couple I've ever met running a brilliant comfy hotel opposite a beautiful ancient historical park. Free car park. Plus they can have a decent conversation and very knowledgeable about the area and further afield. Modern clean showers phone tv and many drinks snacks on offer too.”

“I was there yesterday at a lunch party for my uncle and Aunt’s Diamond Wedding Anniversary. The food and the service was really wonderful and a credit to the Haven. The food was beautifully presented and served hot. The room was elegantly decorated for 25 guests seated at a long table. Nothing was too much for the staff, I was so impressed. Table service was great from the moment we sat down and after scouring the menu, we both ordered the New Inn Burger - 5* burger in my opinion, the quality of meat and the cook was excellent. “I loved the atmosphere of this pub. I was there last Sunday to try the Sunday roast. When I arrived, it was almost impossible to get a table as the place was packed, but the staff were very friendly and quickly found a spot for my wife and me. When we placed our food order, we were told it would take around 20 minutes because many tables were ordering at the same time. I went for the pork belly, and my wife chose the roast beef. We were pleasantly surprised when the food arrived much faster than expected , the portions were generous, and everything was absolutely delicious. I must also highlight the gravy and apple sauce, which was fantastic. I’ll definitely be going back with family and friends!”
