“I had black Americano and my wife had cappuccino, we both really enjoyed our drinks a lot. My Americano had that light fruity aftertaste that you often only find with very high quality, it was genuinely very delicious. The interior is relaxing, calm and light and we really appreciate the soft music as well, not at all over the top. I love what this place is going for, as I am new to the area it's nice to find a place nearby that I know I can be comfortable in. The woman serving us on Monday 6th was also very kind.”

“We held a work party in the upstairs room at the Hospital Tavern and it was brilliant! The events manager was fantastically helpful, service was brilliant, and the selection of food and drink available was fab, we didn't scratch the surface of the equipment available (mics, lights, sound etc!) but what we used was great. The pub is in a great location and has a really friendly, fun vibe... also nice late opening hours!”

“I visited Eagle London recently after more than 15 years—and wow, what a great experience! It’s still such a cool, iconic venue, and I feel lucky that places like this are still around. In a time when LGBTQ+ spaces are disappearing, Eagle is more important than ever. It’s the perfect mix of cool nostalgia, good ol’ flirting, and fresh, welcoming vibes. The crowd was fun, the energy was great, and the whole night just had that special something that’s hard to find elsewhere. So glad I came back—and I’ll definitely be back again soon!”

“Massive industrial warehouse. Big bar. Order food from qr table. Pizza, fries, etc. food good. Vast outside space. On our visit they had created a beach (Walthamstow on Sea). Lots of events. Great place for family fun and large gatherings.”

The people attending this weekly event is like one big family, but they greet newcomers with open arms and you immediately feel very welcome, regardless of who you are, your dance experience etc. On several occasions, we've travelled all the way from Sweden in order to attend and we've never once been disappointed. Great price, great music and great teachers. The hostess Amanda, apart from being a fab DJ herself, also has a great selection of guest DJs and she lets DJs play that might not get a chance in other places. A big plus is also the free snacks that keeps you going for a full night of dancing, dancing, dancing!”

“Fabulously friendly Cuban dancing bar, the teachers Lisi and Oscle are fabulous, strict and precise, they will get you dancing to precision. Met some amazing people and friendly social groups. Upstairs the bar feels like you are in Cuba, been going for just over a year, from a total beginner, and now have confidence going out social dancing. Thank you.”

They went really well together. There is limited seating but it’s a great place to sit down and work or just drop by :)”

Sat in even shared a table with other visitors which I thought was so nice and brought back the good times where people actually converse! Carrot cake was divine it was moist and tasty. Was there so long sat to near closing time! The basement has a really nice ambience to it aswell I'd come back again.”
