“Really, really lovely pizza in the evenings. Possibly the best in the Crystal Palace / Penge / Beckenham area? Don't let the front of the shop fool you, there is a lovely dining area in the back with a live grape vine covering the ceiling. With the peak summer evening heat and some Europop being played it was almost like being on the Mediterranean! Seems like they prefer people to book in advance, but they accepted our unannounced group of five, and we all seriously enjoyed our food. Definitely going back.”

Set in formal, tree-lined garden housing a naval burial site, playground and community centre, the cafe is ideallic for those who want a peaceful ambience. Make no mistake, due to its popularity, it can get very busy but you'll be spolied for choice with space as much as you will with what's on the menu. Ran by husband and wife team, Gary and Victoria and their wonderful team, you can rest assured you'll be met with a warm welcome, fun banter, and chit chat like youre one of the locals, (Even if you're not.) I personally come for the cooked full English breakfast but there is plenty of choice on offer! Everything from sweet pastries, more savoury snacks, all of which are homemade, delicious salads and variety of hot and cold beverages to wash it down with. All the staff are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. If you fancy something that might not be obviously on the menu, the team will endeavour to make it for you (within fair reason, of course) If you've not yet visited Pistachios in the Park cafe, and you want someting a little away from the regular side of Greenwich, with exemplary quality, this is your spot. You wont regret it!”

“Very nice standard of rooms, large and clean. Very quiet, especially in inside rooms away from the road. Breakfast was good but as it wasn't busy it was sat under the heaters waiting so didn't feel as fresh as it could have. Bus stop outside or a 10 min walk to the Tube. Staff were pleasant and I will certainly stay again. Good value at the time of booking as had an offer on.”

He took such thoughtful care of the children, even surprising them with pancakes decorated with a heart in the middle—a beautiful touch that made them feel truly seen. “Recently booked a last minute night in London. Hostelle was not only very affordable but women's only! I saw a few mixed reviews, but honestly thought it was in my top hostel experiences! It's certainly not a new and flashy hostel, but a comfortable, well thought out and safe space for women to stay. The 14-bed dorm I stayed in was not very spacious but I had a curtain and the bunk bed was sturdy and didn't rock about. The showers and toilets were clean. Both receptionists I came across were really relaxed and friendly. As for location in London, it's a little way out. But it's very close to Bethnel Green tube station (2-min walk) and there are a couple of very cool beer and wine spots within 5-minute walking distance. Overall just feels very comfortable being around women who are there for the same reasons as you. Will defo be back! Many thanks.”

“My 9 year old Jack Russell terrier Charlie is a very anxious dog. And I can't leave him in kennels. I have a very busy and noisy household , so was looking for some where he could relax, get pampered and I wouldn't have to worry while I was away. Sandie and Mike were excellent, they gave Charlie everything he needed. And he is more relaxed at home now since he is back. Sandie also sent me pictures on what's app to show me he was ok. “Food was as authentic as it can be . All stuff have big smile and eager to serve . Generally atmosphere is very warm which makes all the food even tastier . I could not recommend it enough . “I work in London two weeks a month and this is always always always my go to place for brunch. I’ve been coming here for breakfast pretty consistently for about 6 months or more and every time the food was fresh, tasty, well presented, and came out quickly. The ladies are absolute gems as well. I went to a couple of other pricier and ‘fancier’ halal breakfast places in the surrounding area, but they never ticked all the boxes the way Jasmine’s do. It tends to be very busy on weekends but every time I got lucky and found a table, and again even when it was busy the food and service quality stayed the same which is a major plus.”

“Picked this venue for a coffee after reading the great reviews and was not disappointed. Don't be fooled by the modest entrance, the shop is a visual cornucopia of artistic delights. The drinks arrived in cute, hand painted cups and saucers, with small wooden spoons and the coffees adorned with coffee art. We sat and took in all the amazing decor which was for sale: cups, small serving dishes, bags, spoons, a menagerie of small crocheted animals with some in key ring form plus so much more. It was a feast for the eyes and brain to take in everything that was on display. The coffee was equally good and hope to try one of the cakes next time. An absolute joy for the senses and would highly recommend.”

“I am sure I already left a 5* review, but I had to do it again. Honestly the food amazes me every time! Not only is the presentation impeccable but the taste is even better!! Try the baked chilli and garlic prawns and it will have you back the next day. (Yes I came back the next day just for the prawns). Now I will always try something different everytime as everything is 10/10 so finding a favourite is not easy. The staff are very friendly and attentive but the manager is an absolute diamond. Oh I almost forgot how absolutely affordable it is, Thank me later guys.”
