The therapists are all lovely but I cannot recommend Kendal enough she is extremely knowledgeable and gave me lots of good advice when I was on my acne treatment. “I love oliver bonas its my favourite shop. I have so many things from oliver bonas and whilst it's not cheap everything is so well made and unique. I buy a lot of the home items such as plant pots, faux plants, jewellery boxes and trinkets but also love the clothes, bags, scarves and sunglasses. They also have the best customer service team I've ever experienced. The Sevenoaks store is lovely, nice variety of the products and staff are friendly and helpful”

“This was my third visit to The Kings Head in Sevenoaks within just a couple of months, and there’s a very good reason I keep coming back. I travel all the way from Farnham, which is a 50-mile trip, but it’s absolutely worth it every time. I’d probably go further if they asked nicely. The pub has everything you’d hope for from a proper village pub. The building is beautifully traditional, full of character, and in the summer the garden is a genuinely lovely place to sit and unwind. The staff are consistently excellent, friendly, attentive, and clearly take pride in making people feel right at home. There’s also a solid selection of real ales and lagers, which never disappoints. My first visit was at the tail end of summer, when I sat in the garden for lunch and was instantly taken with the place. A couple of weeks later I returned for an evening meal and was so impressed that I decided to relocate our annual family remembrance gathering here. We came as a group of 11 for lunch on Saturday 15th November, and even though the pub was very busy, the service was faultless. Our waitress was kind, attentive, and had a great sense of humour, which is essential when dealing with our lively family. The team here didn’t flinch. Even though the pub was busy, service stayed top-notch and dishes arrived far quicker than I expected. Miracles do happen. All the dishes we ordered arrived promptly, and every one of us commented on the generous portion sizes (a rarity these days!) and the superb quality. Everything was cooked perfectly and packed with flavour. I had the cod stew with chorizo and crispy kale, which was an absolute standout — beautifully balanced and bursting with flavour, like a little firework display in a bowl. I followed it with an apple crumble and custard, which met the approval of even our most serious crumble connoisseurs. And, to top it all off, the bill was a very pleasant surprise. It’s refreshing to enjoy food and service of this standard without feeling like you’ve been mugged on the way out. The Kings Head is a place I genuinely love. Traditional, welcoming, great food, great staff, and great value. I’ll happily keep making the 50-mile journey, it’s become a firm favourite of mine.”

“Rising Sun - Google For a long time this hidden gem was a secret for those on the know. It is difficult to get to and unfindable on TA. It used to be busy when Peter ran it but since he passed away his wife, Michelle, and daughter, Rachel, manage it as a quaint old skool country pub with real ales and ice cream with packaged bar snacks available too. Since Michelle's cohort was affected by the rise in retirement age she is due for her pension in 2026. Until then she has to make ends meet and is finding it hard in this economic climate with fewer patrons. This pub is well worth making the effort to visit. Just come for the atmosphere inside, garden outside and the occasional folk gigs. It keeps on disappearing on TA despite my reviewing it a few times before! It also gets confused with other (much more chic, expensive and flashy) pubs locally and I have reported the misplaced photos. Just go with your loved ones or friends. You will not be disappointed. Cycle or drive there. The boxed Westerham Ales are good though so mind the units. Look out for the rare chicken and cow breeds too!”

“We have just had all our lined, cream, patio curtains and bay window curtains dry cleaned by Otford Dry Cleaners. They even Scotch Guarded the linings to protect from possible damp/condensation. We are delighted with the result as they all look like new. Great service and price ! Many thanks.”

“Had a Sunday lunch here a couple of weeks back. I had to have the all meats Sunday roast despite it being a hit summers day! It was fantastic. Meats were plenty full as were the roast potatoes which were cooked perfectly. Excellent value for money to. Drinks reasonably priced and a great selection. Definitely worth a visit.”

“We've used this place multiple times for takeaway, as dining in is not an option. The staff are friendly, and the food is great. They use good cuts of meat in their dishes.”

“The staff at the Sevenoaks shop are always so friendly and helpful. I'm a pensioner and usually walk my dog in, and around, town. I find it difficult to shop so I do it online, BUT this shop's staff are always willing to help. Someone keeps an eye on my dog, while I do a quick shop. So I'm more prepared to do my shopping at the amazon shop. Lovely fresh food..thanks, keep up the good work.”
