“Stayed here one night for a layover and it was perfect. Right next to airport but you hear absolutely no airport noise. The breakfast buffet had a lot of options even vegetarian breakfast ‘meat.’ Bed was very comfortable and they even supplied robes and slippers. Had a relaxing stay amid two hectic travel days. **not necessarily affiliated with hotel but worth mentioning. I took the hotel hoppa bus, which you have to pay for (£6.80/$8.98 one way) and it was not on schedule departing LHR. It was over 30 mins late. It was however on time picking me up from the hotel to LHR. Important to note if you’re on a strict schedule.”

“Our favourites are The Mighty Meaty Pizza and Chicken Wings. Ordered dine-in, takeaways, we have never been disappointed. The staffs were nice, and friendly. Seating area is only available indoor, and pretty warm in the summer. Sockets for charging are available. Toilets for customers are not available.”

“I stumbled upon Mimi’s Kitchen Eat-In and Takeaway for a late lunch, and I’m so glad I did. The food selection was impressive—fresh, well displayed, and ready to go. I had the Jollof rice (absolutely divine) and the “fish platter”, which was perfectly seasoned and sweet, tender plantain. I also tried a bit of my friend’s moinmoin and it was DELICIOUS. (I literally want it right now.) The customer service was lovely too—the server was kind & mindful when my friend asked if the Jollof and moinmoin had been cooked with any meat, as she’s veggie. It’s always appreciated when staff are considerate about dietary requirements. If I had one small suggestion, it would be to make the drink options and their prices a little easier to view—it would make adding a drink to your meal a bit more effortless. But honestly, that’s the only (tiny) thing. All in all, a perfect lunch find!”

“One of the best hotel experience of my life. People will complain about ANYTHING these days and humans are becoming harder and harder to please. Seriously, the staff was friendly, the restaurant was beautiful, the hotel rooms were so classic and has almost a royal feel to them. This hotel is nothing short of authentic and gives you that classic London feeling. 100% Reccommend!”

“Such a loving atmosphere, the service was so lovely and nice. We went on a Sunday around 4pm and it was so peaceful. Food and dessert were amazing. Best pizza I’ve ever had. The tiramisu was sooo delicious, best I’ve had. Would 1000% recommend. Prices were very affordable £13+ for a large pizza.”

A pleasure to have Lewis behind the bar serving a lively group while keeping things sensible. Bouncers Chessy and Leon provided a safe space for the kids to have fun while being respectful of our home. Hummings proprietor was very attentive making sure his team arrived on time and checking they had everything they needed to do a brilliant job. All supported behind the scenes by Mahathi who expertly understood our requirements and matched the team to our needs. I would highly recommend the Hummings team to support any event in the home - helpful, flexible and very professional. Thanks guys!”

“Excellent neighbourhood gem! I have been here a few times and introduced others as well and there has not been a single negative remark. The food is innovative and delicious. Nothing is bland, boring or ordinary. All unique dishes, well put together and inventive. What we tried on latest trip: The fillet steak had an option of pepper or truffle sauce and we said that sounds like a good combo for a sauce and they said they'd could do that for us....it was the best sauce on steak! The crispy chicken starter is my favourite thing on menu! Miso cod is excellent and duck bons bons also very good”

“Service was great, very nice/helpful staff. The food was very good, we had a Groupon for the afternoon tea and it's one of the best we've been to, I especially liked the salmon tataki sandwiches and the cheesecake, definitely recommend. Came back again for dinner and we had small plates, all of them were great. Especially liked the mushroom arancini and the crispy salmon tacos. The chicken bao bun was amazing too, would suggest if the bao could make 2 smaller ones instead of one large then easier to share.”

“We had the most amazing experience at Hayward’s this weekend. I booked the dinner and accommodation package for my husbands birthday months ago. Since booking, I have had to go on a strict diet for medical reasons. I contacted Hayward’s and they went above and beyond what I had expected by creating a fully bespoke menu for myself, meaning I didn’t miss out on anything and you would never have known the food had been adapted. My husbands food was incredible as well. The service on the night was impeccable, our glasses were never empty and little touches such as the waitress’s ensuring the tables were clean after each course did not go unnoticed. We would highly recommend visiting this family run business and we will be back for definite.”

“Happy to make changes like putting some meat separate and some in a pitta which is really useful, when they are flexible about how the food is given to you and they aren't precious about a set menu. Only thing I'd point out to them is to make sure to use a set of tongs to turn the raw chicken skewers over, and once this is cooked on the outside, move to a different part of the grill and finish it off, by using another pair of tongs. You'd avoid any chance of cross contamination this way. Same goes for the pittas and wraps being warmed up - use another clean pair of tongs to avoid customers having second thoughts about their stomachs getting through the night ok..”
