“I went here a couple of days ago and took the risk after all the bad reviews(only 1 time risk). But now maybe it has changed owners and it's better now? As it looked like only 1 chinese guy was working there who spoke perfect English and I didn't see anyone else in sight. After many indecisions by myself they guided me and made great suggestions to get the kitchen exactly how I wanted it for the budget I had. They even came all the way over to Epsom in Surrey to make sure everything measured up correctly! In addition they have been available for the kitchen fitter whenever he had any questions. “I started looking for a new kitchen back in autumn, and it wasn’t finished until midsummer the following year — a timeline that had me wondering if I’d wandered into an episode of Midsomer Murders. There were a couple of walls being knocked down and a bathroom fit out being completed as well, thankfully, no mysterious disappearances… just the arrival of a stunning kitchen which was well worth the wait. The final product is amazing with lots of character fitting perfectly with the house and the original vision. We went with an Ashley Ann shaker-style design, and it really does look the part — solid build, classic lines, and a lovely dual colour scheme that gives the space real depth and charm. It’s both modern and timeless — exactly what we were after. BCK were excellent right from the start. The pre-sales advice was clear, transparent and honest, and we felt supported the whole way through. The planning meetings were great and detailed, so good I thought I was running the showroom at one stage. Communication was strong — no black holes (even if the draw fronts felt like they were coming via Uranus at one point). Special mention to the excellent fitting team, who came in towards the end and helped bring everything together with care, professionalism, cricket chat and Oasis riffs. They really made the difference in those final stages. All in all, a solid gold five stars. Yes, there were lots of questions, but the finished result is a beautiful, functional kitchen that’s completely transformed our home. BCK delivered — and we’re genuinely pleased we found them and thoroughly recommend them for your Project.”

“What a lovely old school Italian restaurant that is reminiscent of how original family restaurants were years ago. Staff are so welcoming in true Italian fashion from the moment you enter, and I have never been asked anywhere so fast if I want a drink! All food that comes out of their kitchen is cooked fresh and with heaps of love - the salmon and crab duo starter kicks the flavours off, and the scallops are big, fresh and cooked in an eclectic harmony of flavours of wine, cream and stock. Even the accompanying rice is firm, meaty and also cooked in the same. Meal for three and with bread, wine, water and service under £150 which is pretty reasonable for all what we had.”

“Very enjoyable Mother's Day family breakfast at The Kitchen. Five adults and three children had very nice meals and all commented favourably. Adults had mixture of full English and veggie and children had Nutella on toast. Their offer of breakfast plus tea or coffee for £11 is brilliant value”

“Had a Birthday dinner few days ago and can only thank for a brilliant service and food.Haven't been there for few years and surprised the restaurant kept the same good quality of food, and service, maybe even better. Didn’t make any pictures this time but everyone was very happy with they food.I don't know any other peoples names working there but they all were very good and polite . It's very good vines available in restaurant.The man name Paul was serving our table ,he he was listening very carefully what vine I like and he recommended very good vine 10 of 10,just perfect.Well done to all stuff,very nice and cosy atmosphere there,big Well done to the chefs. The only thing I want say is not a complaints I didn't ask when we start ordering the food,but it will be nice if customers can be asked about the allergies before ordering food. So is the best Italian restaurant in the area for sure. Inga”

“Too be fair here , I see some negative reviews, OK I see alot of people waiting for thier fish n chips , or what ever they are ordering outside on a Friday . Why ? Because its popular ! Mistakes happen , don't think its fair to down star , for being run by humans . I saw a review about a guy ordering a cheeseburger at midday - yes I feel your pain , but when I tried to order a half pounder I was told it costs too much money to put the grill on ??? , young guy btw.. what I will say is , I normally go up the road MA'S.t.. .ry.. ( I'm not here to advertise) his prices have increased , stealthily. I thought the cods looked small at oval ? But then I havnt ordered one yet , I'm hoping they where a small ? Since the other place has to break of the tail to fit it in the box ( Large) . Price wise , we ll I think the prices at the oval may be slightly higher. One thing is for certain , the owner , the indies man , oldish , is such a nice fella , he always waves at me when I walk past . Think I'm gonna try a large skinless cod soon .”

“We went to this restaurant last night and I can honestly say, we've tried a lot of restaurants in the area, royal kitchen, jalsha, oval brasserie, moghul.. but this was the nicest Indian food we've ever had. Great selection of poppadom chutneys, the best prawn puri starter we have ever had , main meal fantastic. Service absolutely brilliant. Will definitely make this out local from now on. Highly recommend”

“All 7 of us really loved our meal and the service was excellent. The best thing for me was that they have a vegan menu too which is amazing! And he even said even if it's not in that section they can adapt it to your dietary needs. I haven't been able to have korma in 10 years and it was soooo good!”
