“Had a really lovely, and tasty dinner here. The food was delicious, service was very prompt and the atmosphere was nice. Felt like a real family run, “mammas homemade” restaurant. Usually not a big fan of Italian food but the food here would make me come back.”

“Okay Grapelli you got me here with a rare 5 stars. Hands down some of the best service around, making me feel like I was back in a family run restaurant in Sicily. Food was top drawer with the pasta dishes cooked to perfection, the salads refreshing but with some real deep flavours running though and that Pistachio Brulee was something else. We were celebrating a join birthday and the team did a great job at making the evening feel a little extra special. I will be heading back soon to try a few more dishes on offer on the incredible looking menu.”

“I recently tried this biryani in tapori which is located in Cobham and was genuinely impressed. The moment I opened the container, the aroma of freshly ground spices hit me—warm, rich, and absolutely irresistible. The rice was perfectly cooked, each grain separate and infused with flavour, and the meat was tender and well-seasoned. Portion sizes were generous, definitely worth the price. The biryani came with raita and salan, both fresh and complementary without overpowering the main dish. What stood out most was the balance of spices—flavourful without being overwhelmingly hot. Service was quick and friendly, and the food was neatly packed with no mess or leakage, which I really appreciate for takeaways. Overall, an excellent biryani experience. If you’re craving authentic, aromatic, and satisfying biryani, this place is absolutely worth trying. Highly recommended!”

“I've been to a few Nandos and this is one of the best. A whole chicken was shared between two adults, with four sides, and this almost defeated us in terms of quantity as well as quality. It was a great meal of succulent chicken, with sides on a par with the main dish - they were absolutely smashing - rainbow slaw, grains with green beans & butternut squash and tender stem broccoli. Absolutely yummy, thank you - and in a motorway service station food hall too, which doesn't necessarily scream "quality". (A huge takeaway order had been received and I couldn't help but ask to take a photo of the 24 half chicken order being prepared). Thanks to the Boss and kitchen staff for obliging me.”

The food was just as impressive—generous portions, excellent quality, and amazing value for money. Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. It’s not often you find a place at a service station that goes above and beyond both in service and food quality, but Leon at Cobham truly delivered. “Flew in for lunch in my friend’s helicopter for lunch with my daughters. Beautiful pub inside and out, but we sat outside in a lovely shady table. Great menu with a wide and original variety of tempting dishes, I started with lobster Thermidor crumpet which was delicious with a very generous amount of lobster. Had chicken Kiev for main, which was also very tasty, although perhaps a bit lacking in oozing garlic butter. Service was perfect from the lovely Holly! Overall, a sublime pub to visit, whether by land or air.”

“Beautiful country pub just outside of Cobham town centre. Small car park available which did get full quickly but there did appear to be some more parking available off the main road. Service was fantastic from Jarred. Lovely interior, food was sublime and the oysters were some of the best we’d had in a long while. Thank you to all of the staff for a great lunch. We certainly hope to be back again soon.”

“Gorgeous pub, nice service. I had the surf and turf and have to say both steak and lobster were delicious. Cooked to perfection. The chips were lovely too. Others had sausages and mash, smoked salmon sandwich and the ribs. There were empty plates and reduced chatter as we all enjoyed our food. It’s a ye olde world pub which has bundles of character. There’s parking there too which is handy.”

“We celebrated my son’s 18th birthday. It was big group of us that arrived a different times. Nothing we ask was too much trouble. From adding things to our pre order last minute, to creating separate bills for each family. Food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, the team was fantastic, specially Bella who looked after us with a big smile and without missing any details. “We had such a lovely time at Woodlands Park Hotel. Before we arrived Aysha from reception called me to ensure everything would run smoothly. She ensured we had adjoining rooms and was so welcoming when we arrived. The excellent service continued at dinner and also breakfast. Portions were amazing and honestly could not fault anything. We felt very comfortable throughout our stay. The rooms were clean and spacious and we would definitely recommend. Thank you to all the staff who were extremely attentive.”

“Beautiful hidden restaurant in the golf course, open to the public. Only found as our original restaurant was cancelled. The outside seating is lovely & serene - the lake makes for a gorgeous view. The peach & goat's cheese salad was delicious, portion size was filling. The chicken florentine was a nice portion, but was quite dry - I has to request more sauce. Staff were attentive & enquired if all was ok. Would like to go back & try more on the menu. The wedding on that day was lovely too - congratulations!. I did have a lovely video of the venue but no option to attach it!. All in all a good lunch in nice surroundings.”

“Always great food! Whole family enjoy an “Ali’s” - a treat we look forward to especially in these financially tighter days. Meat is always spot on, salads are fresh and always makes food exactly to order. Delicious. Hubby loves the lamb here but I personally think the chicken is the best! As I suffer from word blindness, sadly I never know the right names for things! (My apologies for this) The food is always delicious. Top takeaway - highly recommend.”

“Surprised. I ordered kitchen katsu, although I was worried as the chicken looked dry and tough but it wasn’t. It was lovely and the rice was perfect! The young guy serving was very professional and polite!”

“I love this miniature Pret. There’s no seating aside from a couple of stools in the window but works for me as I’m in/out on way to work. Love the almond croissant and organic filter coffee. Staff are really kind and welcoming.”
