“I had the lamb curry dosa and it was icredibly delicious. The lamb curry was beautifully spiced and accompanied with a tomato chutney and an amazing coconut and mint chutney. Both ladies served me with a smile (which always goes a long way imo). Will definitely be travelling the 8 miles for this!”

“Excellent food! We recently found out about Bang Bang and we’re able to try T.H.E Formosa and we’re delighted at how good it was. We had the popcorn chicken, bao, and pak choi. The chicken was perfect - it was crispy and succulent and so tasty. The bao was just as delicious as was the steamed pak choi. The pak choi in particular was fantastic. It had a lovely smoky flavour and came with a lovely dressing. There’s lots to choose from at Bang Bang but T.H.E Formosa is definitely my favourite!”

We ordered a chicken shish, rice and sweet potato fries to split and it was delicious there was plenty of food for the two of us. Best chicken shish that we’ve had in a while. “My first evening in London after a long journey I ate at HAWLER. This was the best decision I made that day. The restaurant is bustling with a nice atmosphere and very hospitable staff. I had the lamb and chicken tikka and before even ordering I already had received a complimentary bowl of lentil soup, which was very delicious and lovely to warm up from the cold outside. The meal was wonderful as the charred meat was rich, tasty and tender. The table was so full with all kinds of extras to eat with the meal, something I am not used to but enjoy greatly. Very affordable price, I would recommend anyone in the area to check this restaurant out. First and definitely not last time I am having Iraqi cuisine!”
