“Amazing from start to finish. Greeted at the door, shown to the table, the decor is stunning, the staff are all so friendly and attentive. The food was delicious very good portion size no waiting around served quickly and given the time to enjoy the food and not rushed to clear the table, they do have a 2hr dining policy but not strictly enforced. It was a lovely relaxing evening and definitely worth it”

This visit, set at the turn of summer to autumn, saw two styles of plating shift from vivid colours to the muted tones of fallen leaves, wheat, chestnuts and early autumn earth. “Wonderful. That probably doesn't do it justice. The location is idyllic. The house is gorgeous and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. We sat outside as it was a lovely day with a spectacular view across the valley. We went for the set menu. It's not cheap but actually it's not unreasonable for the quantity and quality of the food. A few surprises (ants - deliberately - on the sushi) which were utterly delicious. We had different choices and every one of them was fantastic. Service was brilliant - friendly and informative - and the whole experience was unrushed, relaxed and sublime. Couldn't have had a better celebration of our anniversary. I also can't reccommend it enough.”

“We went around 7:15 PM for dinner, it was quite at the time, mostly empty. More people joined afterwards but was not overly crowded being a Wednesday night. Service was prompt and food was excellent. We are vegetarian so ordered only vegetarian food and both the items from mains were good. We also ordered two deserts and they were good too. It had calm vibes of small town Mexican dinner.”

“I was on a mission to find the best Sunday Roast in London… and I found one! We shared a slow-cooked lamb leg between the two and it was absolutely delicious. All the trimmings were superb too, very full of flavour. We also got cauliflower cheese as a side. Will be coming back and bringing friends and family too. Excellent service and very friendly staff.”
