“I absolutely love the Everyman in Kings Cross! The bar area is lovely and cosy — the perfect spot to enjoy some food and drinks the film. The staff are always warm and welcoming. On my most recent visit, I came with a large group, and Lauren, Zion, Eva, and Jess looked after us brilliantly. They were super accommodating, and our food and drinks arrived quickly despite the big order. I’d highly recommend this Everyman to anyone looking for a fun date night or a relaxed evening out with friends!”

“At the beginning of October we had dinner in the outdoor area of ​​the Balcony restaurant overlooking Covent Garden. We had Seared halibut, Honey roast carrots and Chargrilled vegetables with cheese tard. Everything was wonderful, and I would particularly like to highlight the service, friendly, attentive, professional.”

Next level. Fresh, beautifully presented and full of flavour, proper fine dining but without the stiff vibe. Service was flawless too; every single member of the team was warm and on point. If you love sushi, stop scrolling and just book a table. We’re already planning our next visit!”

“Had a really lovely meal at the counter, where you can watch the chefs skilfully prepare amazing sushi and hot dishes. We had the tasting menu and the staff were kind enough to swap out the main course for a pescatarian alternative. All of the courses were fantastically prepared and plated, the ingredients used were fresh and of exceptionally high quality, and the flavours of each dish were distinct and innovative without straying from the classics. If you come here and get their tasting menu, you’ll leave full and happy.”

“Had the champagne afternoon tea and it was the best afternoon tea I've ever had ( I've had quite a few!,) food was so nice and the smoked salmon and caviar side was unexpected. Each bit was delicious and staff so polite and attentive and kindly swapped our champagne for white wine. Definitely would recommend and the hotel was lovely too. We had a groupon voucher which made it excellent value for money.”

“We recently celebrated our wedding with an intimate dinner for our closest friends and family in the beautiful Danby Room at The Ivy and we truly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect evening. From the moment we arrived, the service was nothing short of exceptional. A special mention must go to the incredible South African waiter Charl who looked after us throughout the evening and his charm truly elevated the entire experience. He made everyone feel so welcome and taken care of. The food was absolutely exquisite. Each course was beautifully presented and full of flavour our guests are still raving about it! From the starters to the desserts, everything was cooked to perfection and served with impeccable timing. I loved the crispy duck salad and the strawberry and elderflower trifle! And the cocktails were beautifully crafted! We are so grateful to The Ivy and the wonderful team in the Danby Room for making our wedding dinner truly unforgettable. “Amazing serving and amazing food. I had the penne salmon and it was melt in your mouth good! The house wine recommended was good as well. I didn’t taste the pizza but during my visit there it was a hot commodity and smelled amazing. Make sure you visit!!! It’s worth it”

“Awesome styling and very nice staff. The dishes were almost all super interesting and original. Lots of unusual ingredients. The non alcoholic drinks were quite expensive for what they were. Also the wagyu upgrade didn’t feel worth it for the price. You’ll be perfectly fine without and and you won’t miss the best dish. Transitioning to the bar was very well handled and overall KOL was very fun, stylish, interesting and tasty. I had such a great time and recommend it whole heartedly!”

“We had a great time at Benaras. Prabhat ji recommended the best food and drinks, and was great to talk to! Great service and lovely atmosphere. I specially loved the Essex farm chicken momo, Gatta curry and the dal makhani. For drinks, the Chutney Martini was interesting - a medley of spices. I personally loved the Gimlet and Imperial more.”

“Dinning at this restaurant never disappoints. This time, had the garlic nan and panner butter masala; They were the best in London if you like delicately spiced up. Came for another visit on a lunch date. As usual, fabulous taste. This time also had the lamb kebab and sorbet for dessert. Sorbet selection today was melon, mango, blood orange and passionfruit. Ananya who’s really sweet looked after us very well.”

“Went for a Thursday dinner for two. We'd rescheduled twice and got allocated an outside table, but they kindly seated us inside last minute (and it was raining too). There were some large groups, which made it really busy. Service was nevertheless attentive and the food came promptly. The grilled octopus and tuna tartar were tasty starters, and we couldn't go past the rump and the scallops for mains, with a perfectly paired wine to boot. Great vibes from the decor and layout too. Recommended for a city dinner out”

“Wha a delight this place is! Right near The Nellie Dean, a pub I love, a great location. Food was absolutely delicious, absolutely singing with flavour and lots of seasoning. Dishes were skillfully cooked and presented (halibut beautifully done, clearly butter-basted), pricing much fairer than many similar restaurants (including the wine - nothing's cheap now, but the options were appreciated and the Cotes du Rhone lovely), and all the staff were so friendly, polite and professional. I want to thank the staff/chefs as this was a birthday dinner for my partner, and she loved it as well!”

“Slightly odd layout, but I reckon it's now the pub with the best cask in Hackney! Run by Five Points so it has all of theirs plus several nice guests on tap. Pizzas are also great, NY-style, thin and crispy. If you're into decent beer you have to check it out.”

“I love this place. Really full of character. The income pew seats, the curved wooden bar. It oozes atmosphere. The music is always a bit retro. Service was good. They had a £5 card minimum spend. Usually fine but I had a coke and supplemented with crisps to overcome that hurdle. Really tucked away but a pub you can’t help but walk in if in the area.”

Having lived in the area for a while now, we walked past The Jolly Butchers a few times and had entirely the wrong impression from the outside. Wish we'd discovered it sooner! Super casual spot with delicious Indian food. We ordered the butter chicken, some naan, rice and onion bhaji which was all excellent but the salmon was stand out! ... dog friendly too!”

“Was in town and love the Hard Rock Cafe had a tour of the vault from the nice bloke in there (28th June) then found this little place hidden round the corner. Lovely spot it was just me in for a while as it was a Tuesday at 1 like. The bar tender Dan was a class bloke was really nice speaking to him and the GM who was also in for a bit. I’ll be coming in with the family if we’re down in London anytime soon.”
