“Tucked away in Clerkenwell, this cozy little Indian restaurant was a true gem. Even though they were busy, they got us seated quickly and made us feel welcome right away. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was attentive without feeling rushed. The food was absolutely delicious—rich, well-balanced flavors and clearly made with care. We especially recommend the lamb vindaloo and the paneer tikka, both of which were outstanding. A wonderful spot for a relaxed evening and fantastic Indian food. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.”

“Have got take away from here a few times which has been amazing every time! The pad thai, massaman curry and green chicken curry have all been beautiful! The lunch special is incredible value. I had the green chicken curry and rice for £9.50 and it was massive! Could almost split it between 2 people, easily do able if you were to add another small dish alongside it! Friendly staff and very efficient service!”

“If only I could give this hotel 10 stars. I am incredibly impressed with the customer orientation of Wilde Aparthotel Paddington, and particularly Guest Relations Manager Waris Boryali. We left a valuable item at the hotel after our most recent stay. Wilde, Waris, and team went above and beyond to secure our item and work with a courier service I hired to get the item back to us. Critically, their cleaning staff turned our item in. Additionally, Waris went out of his way to ensure that our item was packaged and safely kept for the courier pick up. He remained in touch with me consistently to give me updates about the item - he was incredibly responsive. The hotel has a WhatsApp messenger feature that is so convenient. I am absolutely indebted to these consummate professionals! We have stayed there annually and will continue to do so - you cant get rid of us now! And P.S. - the rooms are super cute with kitchenettes and sleeping accommodations to fit all needs. The hotel is ideally situated to walk, tube, bus or cab to all corners of London. “A must visit for anyone who wants to see our rich tradition of pubs in East London before it's too late. Don't just pose outside making TikTok videos, get yourself multiple pints of beer and make sure you have a good old chinwag with as many people as you can around the tables before getting hoofed out onto the cobbles at closing time. Piano night on a Monday is a great buzz. This place is the only pub I know in inner city London serving Crouch Vale and it's very nice. The ESB will also give you some old strong London flavours if you've never had it before. The staff are cool and I want to see this place stay the same for another 100 years.”

We had a relatively simple breakfast, some toast for my lad, beans in toast for my wife and a cheesy omelette and beans for me. “We had the full (English) breakfast on the menu consisting of Toast, mushroom, baked beans and turkey rashers. My wife and I don’t take eggs so we requested for more portions of turkey rashers instead and they were lovely to oblige us. We had it with orange juice - and speaking of the orange juice, the best so far I’ve had in the uk. Real Orange juice which I believe was just blended and not Tesco orange juice. The breakfast was tasty and filling. The service was great too.”
