“Genuinely delicious sushi and wonderful customer service. Irena at the front desk was lovely and very welcoming. Such a wide variety of options available and some cool and creative innovations available! Very good spread of classic and wacky sushi available and crucially, I think this place is a good gateway for people who are trying sushi for the first time or aren't too fond of it as it does everything well but also offers things like cooked sushi options. We only managed to go to the Romford branch which I believe is the smallest one - but nonetheless it had seats available and felt very homely! Can't wait to visit Uxbridge and Finsbury park branches next!”

“Hands down the best spot in Romford, tucked away on the far side of the market, this little gem is a generational family run cafe, I had a sausage egg and bacon sandwich taken away, it was foodgasmic the bacon was thick back bacon with a light smoke, the egg was runny the sausage was good quality and the crusty English bread was fresh and nourishing slavered in butter and brown sauce. I have been here a few times and think it’s great, and the tea is a good blend with a strong colour just the way I like it not milky and served in a proper cup not those fancy coffee dish’s. Keep up the good work guys.”

“10/10 desi breakfast, the chana was perfectly spiced, puri was fluffy - well cooked and not too oily, Spanish latte smooth and delicious, paratha was amazing with alo bhujiya. A perfectly situated desi food spot with an array of options that would fit all your cravings. Comfortable seating, chill vibe and overall would highly recommend. (Toilet facility available also) The owner clearly put his love into this business.”

“I recently had a fantastic meal at The Grill Stratford and wanted to share my experience. From start to finish, the food was absolutely top-notch, and it's a spot I'd highly recommend. For starters, I got the buffalo wings and black tiger prawns. The wings had a great kick and were perfectly cooked, while the prawns were juicy and full of flavour. Both dishes were a great way to kick off the meal. But the real star of the show was the ribeye steak. It was incredibly tender, cooked to perfection, and melted in my mouth with every bite. It was easily one of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time. While my main focus was on the steak, I also had a taste of the burger, and it didn’t disappoint. It was hearty, well-seasoned, and a great choice if you're not in the mood for a steak. Overall, the quality of the food at The Grill Stratford is superb. If you're looking for a place with excellent steaks and a solid menu all around, this is definitely the place to go.”

“Absolutely loved the atmosphere! We got a warm welcome from the manager, and our lovely waitress made the whole experience even better. The food was amazing—beautifully presented and full of flavor. I had the chicken liver to start, followed by lamb chops and ribs. The liver was super tasty, and the chops were so tender they just melted in my mouth. My sister ordered a salad and a few other things—loved the little butterfly on the salad! Great service all around. Will definitely be back!”

“Went here for the first time this morning with my husband before going to an appointment. Didn't even know this little gem of a cafe existed until today and its my new favourite. The food was amazing, everything was served piping hot and presented beautifully. It had a nice cosy feel to the place and staff were very welcoming.”

“This is a great pub in the summer with its roof garden but also in winter with its roaring fire a great place to go. What is not to like about Wetherspoons? Food is great for the price, drink prices can’t be beaten and the staff have the discretion to sort out any problems on the spot. Unlike some pubs they have enough staff on too so your wait is minimal. Well done.”

“they have a decent curry selection (if a bit oily, the okra one is particularly nice). The biryani is a good deal (again, a bit oily), and their portion sizes have recently shrunk from ginormous to reasonable, but at 5.50, it's still acceptable. if you get a kebab on naan, they make the naan on the spot, which is super nice (kebab is average, though). Overall, a bit nicer than expected.”
