“Don't understand some of these reviews. Arrived today with a damaged hand, place rapidly became busy. All staff were polite, professional & friendly though run off their feet. Special mention goes to Emma who dealt with me with humour and a tired smile. An angel. The problems in the NHS are NOT of the staffs making so please treat them with the respect they deserve”

“Legendz is NOT one of those typical clip joints that adorns every high street. Gary (the owner) is a skilled barber by profession (and not just job description). He knows his art well and delivers great quality haircuts for very good rates. I won’t go anywhere else.”

“Lovely little cafe just off the high street by the bus station. Had delicious liver and grilled tomatoes - don’t eat bacon so they were very happy to replace this with the toms. Chips delicious as were the sausage sandwiches. Super friendly staff. Great value too. Cash only but there are plenty of atms around. Fed up with the same old overpriced coffee chain food? A trip here is perfect”

“Vee old pub. Very local, separate room for seating, huge open log fire, dogs welcome. Bootiful strong cask ale. Landlord was kept on his feet. Honest locals house. NO music, NO gambling machines-bliss. Christmas eve, 2023...spot on”

“We had our first visit with our new puppy, Clootie, and were really impressed. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience very positive. The vet gave Clootie a thorough check-up and provided clear advice on vaccinations, flea and worming treatments. We appreciated the information on pet insurance — it’s a challenging area to navigate, so the temporary Pet Plan cover was a helpful way to give us time to research other options. The health plan offered by the practice also seems like a great way to support Clootie’s ongoing care. Overall, we’re very happy with the service and look forward to future visits. Thank you!”

“Went here for coffee and breakfast. The coffee was delicious and made extremely fast. Service was also really quick and friendly. Had the plant based bap with an egg added which was also made rapidly and cooked to perfection- the chutney in it was really good! The decor was cool too. They do a nice scheme where you can pay forward a free hot drink to a customer and other customers can help themselves. A nice idea. Overall really well done to this place, they’ve got a good thing going and I’ll certainly be back for more”

“We found this amazing little place on our way home. The staff are amazing. So polite so helpful and super warmly, they make you feel like you’ve been there many many times! The food is out of this world I always say there’s always an aspect of a meal that can let you down. But this place was amazing at every point the food was unreal. This was the best way to top off a weekend with the family!”

“Really enjoyed our visit there. The staffs there were nice and friendly. The food was really good, much better than norm pub food. They also have good awareness of gluten free in their food. It was very nice to know that the gravy for the Sunday lunch was gluten free anyway. We will definitely visit again if we are around the area.”

“Visited on a Saturday evening for a couple of drinks. The atmosphere was lovely, a few locals at the bar, ambient music, which all reminded us of the Bricklayers we know. New manager is doing a great job, and we will definitely be back for a Sunday roast soon.”

“Cute cafe for a bite to eat and hot drink. We popped to the kids playground and came here for hot chocolates and sandwiches. All reasonably priced. Friendly staff, will come again!”

“I didn't eat so I can't comment on the food, I was however welcomed by a charming young lady called Kat, she didn't stop cleaning, unless she was serving someone, friendly and upbeat with everyone, totally a 10/10 staff member”
