“Came here today for the first time with my partner and son. Excellent customer service from All 3 staff members working there. It was very busy but they were still attentive and very helpful. The food portions were great, food quality good and breakfasts were cooked well. The prices were so reasonable too. The staff were very friendly and patient with our toddler. We will be regulars here for sure now and this place is an asset to the high street in Hornchurch.”

It's quickly become my go-to spot for a caffeine fix and a quiet place to work. ✨ What I Love * The Coffee: Their flat white is perfectly balanced—rich, smooth, and never bitter. “The Windmill Pub, Chipperfield has truly been transformed since its new owners, Adam & Clare took over some weeks ago. Greeted by friendly staff, warm atmosphere accompanied by candles and fresh flowers on the tables really makes a difference , and the food—absolutely fantastic. Every dish feels thoughtfully crafted, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. You can really tell the new team cares about quality and customer experience. It’s definitely a places to relax, enjoy a great meal, and feel right at home. Highly recommended!”

“Only been frequenting the pub for a couple of months, and I really like it. It's an old school pub with great food. Traditional Italian pizzas, and good burgers. The staff are brilliant, and make you feel welcomed. This place has character, and everyone has time for a chat and bit of banter. Absolutely no animosity here. There's always sport on, and Molly the manager, has no problem changing the channels to suit what game you want to watch. There's live music on Fridays, and a quiz once a month. Customers are very diverse and great to chat with the locals. I highly recommend.”

“Great service, great Thai food. We had the sharing platter to start... Which to be honest, is a large portion for two.. Lamb massaman and green chicken curries for mains. All food was excellent, as was the service. Option to take away remaining curries, which was nice touch.”

“This place is the best if you want great beer reasonably priced, good grub, and watching sports on large screens. The staff are all lovely too. There are those little subtle special attentions to detail which makes it stand out like freezing the lager glasses, waiter servcice and little extras they put in coctails. Highly recommended”

“The food was delicious, with well-balanced flavors and fresh ingredients that made dish enjoyable. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, creating a comfortable setting for a meal. However, the service was slower than expected. It took a while for them to give me the menu and then my order to be taken. That said, the staff were courteous and clearly doing their best to manage under pressure, which I appreciated. If you’re not in a rush, it’s a great place to enjoy a good meal in a nice setting. With a bit more attention to speed, this could easily become a go-to spot.”

“Seriously some of the best pizza I’ve tasted. Super fresh, great quality ingredients. I had the Napule with black olives added and it was incredible. If you like proper pizza with a big chewy crust, you are in for a treat! My parents and husband loved it too. We paid about £40 each which included a bottle of wine, two beers, shared starters and a dessert each so I would say very good value for money in Greenwich! Lovely owner and staff who make you feel really welcome. We’ll be back again ☺️”

“Great first try of Sushi and Thai express. Spicy salmon crunch roll- hint of spice but overall a refreshing flavour with lots of crunch form the fried onions. Tiger roll - seared salmon is hard to find in rolls so was really looking forward to this. It’s slightly warm and has a toasted flavour. Great for anyone who is nervous about trying raw salmon. Easily my favourite of the order. Chicken crunch roll - restaurant gave this for free. It’s not something we’d order, tends to be dry but this wasn’t at all. The avocado and sauce helped but most importantly the chicken katsu wasn’t dry! Chicken Katsu curry- curry spices, more savoury than sweet. Had chunks of veg as opposed to a smooth sauce, down to preference really. Again the chicken wasn’t dry which makes all the difference. Recommend everything above, particularly the Tiger roll. Ordered on JustEat, delivered within 30 minutes. Looking forward to trying again!”

“Genuinely delicious sushi and wonderful customer service. Irena at the front desk was lovely and very welcoming. Such a wide variety of options available and some cool and creative innovations available! Very good spread of classic and wacky sushi available and crucially, I think this place is a good gateway for people who are trying sushi for the first time or aren't too fond of it as it does everything well but also offers things like cooked sushi options. We only managed to go to the Romford branch which I believe is the smallest one - but nonetheless it had seats available and felt very homely! Can't wait to visit Uxbridge and Finsbury park branches next!”

“I love The Waverley Inn! Amazing food and a lovely atmosphere. This place is beautiful all the year round. At Christmas they have a cozy and warm festive atmosphere. Two fireplaces make the pub even prettier. In summer you can enjoy a beautiful outside terrace with the lights. The team is very caring and attentive, service is always very good. I love it, and I always come back with great pleasure. Thank you!”

“Located at Feltham nearby,it is so far the best Nepali restaurant I go to dine with my dear wife on our dinner night once a month.I strongly recommend Chilli momo,steamed momo,chatpate,Aunti ko Aloo.Also,every Saturday at the end of the month,they offer ''Unlimited Momo'' steamed momos(chicken,pork & veg) specifically for £13 per person having as many as plates as you want within 2 hours!Not a bad deal innit?Moreover,they got happy hour well as on every Friday & Saturday.they got music band live which you will have to check on their Instagram page for updates or so. The atmosphere is vibrant with good music as well as gives the vibe of pub as if it is Nepali version of Wetherspoon. Service wise,the staff are hard workers and dedicated in providing the best service whole-heartedly.A huge shoutout to Trishna for being amazing and cheerful staff in providing excellent customer service going extra mile as me and my wife felt welcomed as well as cared for! Highly recommended & definitely coming back for sure!”
