“Love to shop at the co-op but I don't like their reward system. Its not as good as tesco clubcard but other than that it's a good place to shop for lower prices.”

“My husband and I took Melissa's hypnobirthing course over a weekend, and it was excellent. We went home on the Sunday feeling much better prepared for the birth of our first baby, and feeling more relaxed and confident about it, too. Melissa is a great teacher and very easy to talk to - I'd highly recommend her course for all expecting parents!”

“What an amazing community and a great group of staff! I highly recommend coming here for advice and group sessions. They are all so friendly and bubbly and I am forever grateful for their help! More parents should be going there to encourage their child to socialise and interact. A special thank you to Hazel who was so kind, considerate and the sweetest ❤️”

“Great reformer classes and the teachers, Paula, Felicity and Heather are particularly good. If you want a challenge and technique/alignment then Paula’s class would be the ideal classes to go for. No one class is the same! Paula brings lots of humour to her classes to lighten the burn. The studio is clean, spacious and airy and there is free parking on-site.”

“I can highly recommend the Certificate Course at Highgate Counselling Centre. The quality of the teaching was outstanding, excellent resources were provided, and the course offered a good balance of theory and practice. The tutors were experienced, dedicated and empathetic, and the students supported and encouraged each other, which amplified and deepened the learning. A great year!”

“The staff are really nice, understanding and incredibly helpful, which was impressive when I found out that 1/3 of local young people go there at some point for help. They do confidential counseling and advice, and seem to provide a real pressure valve for young people when they don't feel able to go to their parents, teachers, or other adults in times of need. Every town could do with an Off The Record for kids.”

“I have done 5 of Didier’s retreats. First in London, then at his retreat site in the mountains of Tenerife. I have rarely come across such a kind, compassionate, wise, and inspirational theacher. Whether you are intersted in understanding more how to use and unlock your sacred clown archetype to nourish and enrich your inner creative wisdom or are Intersted in Didier’s unique approach to sacred clowning, his courses have really changed my life in so many positive ways. His unique combination of mime, movement, body therapy, mindfulness practice, clowning and singing are the perfect tools to help his students in the specific ways they need. His approach is highly individual, unique, conscientious and precious. I can’t recommend his courses high enough!”

“This youth club is a great place for children to come if they want a fun place to hang out. They have alot of activities for pool, table tennis, Table football and a music room. On top of that they have a a little store that you can buy drinks, crisps and sweets from. Hygiene wise its really nice and I would recommend letting your child come here.”

“I'm 3 weeks into the 3 month professional course. If you can do this course, then I highly recommend it. It is tough, you are training a full 5 days a week, the teachers will push you. Eventhough you are pushed to your limits, it is done with understanding and with care to the body. Yes it is a tough training, but the empathy and understanding really balance it out. In these 3 weeks I have learnt such valuable lessons. You have a pilates teacher too, these classes really helps you understand your body and how to work it correctly. Also the girls I'm training with, well I couldn't ask for a better group of people to train with. There is so much support on each other to succeed, from students and teachers, it really is lovely. My best advice to anyone considering doing a intensive course with gravity circus is, do it!!! You won't regret it.”

“My son attended the Child Development Centre after we had exhausted all other avenues through the NHS and essentially got nowhere. I am not disparaging the NHS, I think they are marvellous but they do not have the time or resources to fully help our children the way they need help in these circumstances. We had the Centre recommended to us and it has really changed our lives. The relief that someone was finally making sense of our son's behaviour and difficulties that he was having was immense. He would jump and scream at unexpected noises, he would hate any labels in clothes, he would zoom around the house causing mayhem (not deliberately, quite the opposite he was very happy), but we did fear he had ADHD. He was like Tigger from Winnie the Poo, bouncing around everywhere! His concentration was very poor, he was very silly and immature for his age, he wasn't able to sit and watch a DVD, read a book or play with one toy or game for any period of time, he would get bored very easily and be off to play with another toy or game. From a very young age he would have obsessions - firstly the Fire Service and he would not anywhere unless in a full fireman's uniform with a utility belt, he was 4 yrs old at this stage and then it changed to the Police (5yrs old) and then the Army (8yrs old) with each obsession taking over all of our lives in one way or another. One fact we did find interesting was that Dyspraxia often gets misdiagnosed as ADHD. He was diagnosed as having Dyspraxia traits and audio dyslexia. We received a very detailed report which made so much sense in terms of why he was behaving the way he was, but more importantly we started the programme that would definitely change all of our lives for the better. The programme is not a quick fix solution. You need to be dedicated and understand there will be times when it is frustrating and it seems you are making no progress then other times when it accelerate and the changes are amazing. Most people comment that he is like a different boy now and he really is. Once we were able to get rid of the reflexes he had retained the changes became really noticeable. He is so much calmer now, he can concentrate - he reads so many books now which we are delighted at! The screaming when he's startled has stopped and he's even more tolerant to labels! In the beginning we did the on-line checklist on the website and ticked far too many! However, I would highly recommend doing this as it give you a really good idea on whether there is a problem there that needs solving. My husband and I had the conversation about the cost of the treatment and I remember him saying 'this could be the best money we've ever spent' and he was absolutely right, it was. I would highly recommend going for an initial assessment to find out all about it. We originally met David and then Alex continued all of the appointments and treatments with our son. He is excellent with children, very professional with a firm but easy-going manner. If you decide to do it, follow all of the instructions, they really do know what they are talking about and you will get better results by following them to the letter. The programmes are medication free which I loved, this is a totally natural way to help your child be the best they can be!”
