“Fantastic serloin steak for a work meeting out. Cooked perfectly with a nice intense charcoal flavour. The grilled halloumi with pesto was very nice touch, delicious. Very polite and attentive service in a comfortable environment. If I had to fault something my only grumble would be the long Island ice tea had too much lime which made the coke fizz flat and drink sharp (I am highly critical of cocktails)”

“Popped into the cafe today as we were in Wythenshawe Park to look round the newly re-opened Wythenshawe Hall. The cafe was busy but the Team were working hard. “Where do I start with this? So I ordered a “Fusion Donner” and chips and I have to admit it’s the best tasting donner I’ve had in my entire life. They stir fry it in this special red sauce and it goes perfect with some nice chilli and garlic sauce! I have had my fair share of donner over the years and this takes first place! “Our restaurant at work! Staff are friendly, always smiling. Place kept clean, food actually tasty, always choices. Pre- packed or freshly made sandwiches available or hot food. Main restaurant closes at 2 but you can still grab a jacket potato or sandwich after that time. Reasonable prices, too! Plus, they do breakfast! They close just to swap over from breakfast and lunch.”

“Had always drop by to take away delicious Foul Medames, cooked hot soaked in olive oil and served with soft breads. The taste is almost similar to the "Kacang Pool" from Malaysia, but 100x more delicious. At first quite difficult to communicate, seems the lady had limited English, but this help gave the feeling the authenticity of the food, hahaha.”

“My new favourite Sunday Lunch in town. First time had beef, then tried chicken and got hooked. Had chicken 3-4 times now and each time it was succulent and cooked to perfection. Gravy is sooo delicious too. To top it off, Velvet has the best wines in the Village and a great outdoor sitting area along the canal.”
