“Some of the best ramen I've ever had. Came in here for a last minuet meal before a gig, incredible service and fast food. The pork ramen was smokey and rich with an incredible pull apart pork joint on top. The chicken ramen had a lighter broth to it but full of flavour and morish. Fried chicken was tender and crisp, felt homemade and cozy. The atmosphere was cool and stylish, felt authentic for a small ramen shop, simple but effective. Would absolutely eat here again!”

The staff were welcoming and professional, making us feel right at home the moment we arrived. The hotel itself is stunning beautifully designed, spotless, and with a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Breakfast was excellent too, with plenty of choice and great quality. The location couldn’t be better for exploring the city, and we really appreciated the little touches that made our stay feel special. “I am a frequent customer of meiz and they never disappoint. We love the offers and adore the bottomless menu thats on during the week. Sushi is always well presented, tasty, and are delivered in generous portions. Their other dishes are also very flavourful and and probably the best of what Preston has to offer in terms of Japanese food. Sushi tasty might have the aesthetic down, but their food pales in comparison. Super friendly staff also!”

“Relaxed little place, absolute gem for sushi, and I have to callout the cocktails - they're so affordable and are yummy. I've been here so many times now with different friends and even just once for a few cocktails. Always been excellent. Absolutely addicted to the salmon sashimi bowl, my definite go to. The platters are amazingly worth it (I used to live in London so...), portion size was SO GOOD, quality SO GOOD (see pics) Never get hot food here so can't really comment but can confirm it smells and looks yummy.”

“Amazing Chinese store with a huge variety of halal options from across Asia. You can find products from many different Asian countries all in one place. The selection is impressive and hard to find elsewhere. Highly recommended — the experience really reminded me of Hong Kong with its diversity, flavours, and vibrant atmosphere. “This place brings back such nostalgia and memories from when I was studying in Liverpool. Of course, I was ecstatic when I heard they opened a branch in Manchester. Nothings changed fortunately, I still get my large mix and match combo with katsu curry and sweet chilli chicken (best combo) and the portions are always super generous so it’s always comfort food to me. I do wish they did onigiri at this branch though! 10/10!”

My only comment would be that the wasabi could be a bit spicier, but I get that this could be to accommodate a Western palate, so fair enough. The service was friendly and the atmosphere of this section of the Arndale I always enjoy as there are many characters and cultures stopping here stopping for a bite. Highly Recommended.”

“Accidently today we have discovered that little gem. We were heading to take away that turned out to be shut down. My husband decided to give it a go and try out new place that took over and it was amazing. Very kind and polite staff (maybe owners not sure), food was absolutelly delicious, very presentable in take away trays. We have ordered few meals. I had korean spicy (very spicy) chicken with rice/kimchi/ 2 small pieces of sushi/ 2 crispy gyoza dumplings and 2 veg spring rolls. Portion was satisfying, it cost £9 or £9.50 ( worth every penny) none of the sauces were mixing or touching. It was full of different flavours. I honestly enjoyed my meal. My husband had katsu curry with chicken and same sides as i had. Chicken was deliciously crispy and sauce was wonderful. My mother in law had pad thai, portion was very big, and she enjoyed her meal until the last bite. We had also 2 different types of sushi. Can tell it was done fresh and very carefully. It was very presentable. I think tomorrow we will try other their meals. Very nice place with kind staff, i wish them the best and hope they keep up their high standard. We are glad we found this place.”
