“A hidden gem. My son had his 5th birthday party there today and had a fantastic time. The staff (especially our party host and who l believe to be the manager) went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and were so accommodating- nothing was too much trouble, nothing felt rushed and all the children looked like they were having a great time. Very reasonable prices too which is a bonus! will definitely be visiting there again soon.”

“What a find. I was out for an appointment, and was early. We spotted this place, unassuming. We were greeted and seated. The breakfast was cooked from scratch fresh. No preparation, out of fridge to be cooked The value was excellent. Also I could help that community in a small way. If was in my home town would be a regular.”

No real negatives to report: a couple of minor things could have been better on our food (e.g. toasting/warming the bagel before adding the ingredients), but they're very minor. We will definitely come back and I'll get a bacon sandwich on the way to work soon.”

“Fantastic Bar with amazing people running it, and such a friendly crowd inside all round great atmosphere. Superb drink choice, with beers (north/ South my favourite) and cocktails a plenty (Gin Bramble my wifes favourite). They really go all out to look after you and your dogs too. “My new favorite breakfast spot! The staff here are absolutely amazing, so warm, welcoming, and kind. As someone who’s shy and Muslim, it means a lot to feel genuinely comfortable in a new place. They go out of their way to make sure I’m looked after, and they even adjust the food to fit my needs without me having to ask twice. It honestly feels like home. What touched me the most? They remembered my last order. That small gesture made me feel seen and appreciated. Highly recommend!”

“Every time I come I'm met with a hello from the staff and seated as quickly as possible. It's not a huge place, so as expected from somewhere in demand due to the quality, you have to wait sometimes for a table. Always worth the wait though!! If it's super busy, so the fire exit isn't blocked, you may have to wait outside for health and safety reasons, no biggie but come prepared if the weather is questionable. Great coffee from a local roastery in Bolton and a great menu that isn't overbearing. The chorizo hash is a must have, I get this every time! If you can finish the pancakes... fair play to you! They're awesome but HUGE! Get a doggy bag! Bring all my friends and family here when they visit and they always love it. A great spot with quality that you'd expect to find in the city and coffee to rival the best independent coffee shops.”

Starters wise the satay, rojak and roti canai with curry is pretty good although the price for the satay is a little on the higher side. Mee Goreng and Nasi Lemak both are pretty good main options. Good variety of Malaysian drinks available as well. If looking for Malaysian restaurant in Manchester this would be their one to go. Limited parking outside. Sometimes can get a little busy during weekends so might need to book prior but otherwise seats are usually available. Waiting time varies with crowd.”

“What an amazing venue. We had an amazing night watching three grassroots artists who you can clearly see have been supported by the snug in Atherton. It’s venues like this that make a real difference to the grassroots music here in the UK and without them people would not be able to see the new up-and-coming artists. “We are here celebrating one of our friends’ birthday - we ordered coffee and milkshakes - milkshakes are really nice, from real ice cream - we also chose some mugs and plates to paint on - staff are friendly and helpful - when we cannot find the paint we want, staff has helped us find it - we do not know how they would become yet, as we will have to come back to collect them afterwards - it’s nice place to spend time chatting and painting some ceramic mugs or plates with friends and families”
