“Just passing by... Very well presented. Immaculately clean, food is fast, fresh and tasty. Try the Beehive masala omelette (£8.45), certainly hits the spot. “Went tonight with a party of 6, absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Unbelievable Italian drinks selection. Sat down inside when everyone arrived, the owner made room for my father in-law in his wheel chair. (Which isn't easy everywhere!) Food was amazing, everyone loved it, I had the lasagne which was Unbelievable. Honestly couldn't recommend any more. We can't wait to go back. “Amazing restaurant! First time going to Mint Kitchen as my regular is slipping down hill. The food was ready waiting for me to collect, nice portion sizes, though mint kitchen rice portions are slightly smaller than what I'm used to but all that means is I can actually finish a meal with no left overs. The chicken was really juicy with "no bad bits" (The wife is picky with meat). I think Mint Kitchen is my new regular when it comes to a curry!”

“I can’t thank this place enough! My car broke down on the motorway and I ended up just outside the restaurant. My phone was dead, and they kindly let me charge it inside. Parking is a big issue in the area because of a nearby concert, but they found a space for me and let me leave my car there overnight. They even gave me food while I waited — and Mr. Shah refused to take any money for it. I honestly can’t explain how grateful and happy I am. The kindness and generosity they showed me was incredible. Truly amazing people — thank you from the bottom of my heart!”

“We came on a Sunday, having been to an event in Manchester the night before. Looked this place up online for being open, having a good menu, and for being accessible as I was on crutches and wearing a surgical boot. All the boxes were ticked, and the welcome was brilliant, the lady owner was a lovely smiling hostess. The food was good, served quickly, piping hot and just what we wanted. Even on a Sunday, sited in a mainly industrial area, the cafe was busy and it is probably packed during the week. Lots of lovely thoughtful touches. All round, a great choice. Thank you”

“Wow what can I say about this place. Its a place that Droylsden has really needed. Its the Rolls Royce of cafes. So much so that I have been their twice in the last 5 days. On both occasions I had the Medium Breakfast and I would definitely score this 10 out of 10. Could not fault anything if I tried. The cleanliness is second to none and the chef/waitress could not do enough for you. I would definitely recommend this place and will be back very soon. Good luck with this new venture. Xx”

You get a half price voucher when you register online to become a member and every visit after that you get a £1 discount. Allowed a maximum of three hours stay or two hours at busy times so plenty of fun times with the kids. “First time trying this place as i live 5mins away, im Jamaican background but always wanted to try African food! Boyyyy this did not disappoint the flavours were amazing especially the Jollof rice the pounded yam and egusi was lovely. some parts of the beef was tough to eat but over all i would rate this a solid 9/10. “Couldn’t fault our visit here. A cosy busy spot great for families. The atmosphere is lovely and the outdoor seating is perfect when the weathers good. The food was also on point. Portions are massive and at amazing value. I ordered the chicken Caesar salad and it was surprisingly very good! Will happily come again.”
