“The young lady that served us was brilliant so helpful lovely and so helpful. The food was fantastic highly recommended the halal breakfast and my friend loved the omelette. The Earl gray tea came in the most wonderful tea pot and was fantastic. My friend loves the coffees so much has two cups every time. If you have never been you have to try you will not be disappointed I guarantee it. We will be coming once a week from now on may be more. I have to say that the toilets hear are really clean and the double seats one for adults and a second for children shows a real family cafe.”

“Called in for the first time today just as I was passing. Bought a few things then thought I’d visit the cafe for coffee and cake . Really nice small cafe. Totally spotless and the most amazing thing was the great service and friendliness of the lovely lady who works there. ( blonde plaited pony tail ) Thank you so much . “I’ve been visiting this coffee shop regularly for a while now, and I honestly can’t praise the team enough. You can immediately tell they take pride in their work and genuinely care about both the quality of the coffee and the experience of everyone who walks in. Oli in particular has this effortless way of making the space feel welcoming, friendly, and his attentiveness is very wholesome. He remembers people’s preferences, checks in with guests thoughtfully, and the whole atmosphere runs smoothly under his watch. The drinks are consistently excellent, the service is efficient but personal, and there’s a calm, professional energy even during an influx. If you’re looking for a spot where you’re treated like a valued regular rather than just another customer, this is 100% it. Highly recommended!”

“Robina and John are the most wonderful neighbours to have over the road from Hive Stores. They both work very hard to bring a lot more joy and creativity to the neighbourhood and are always willing to help where they can. The waiting room cafe has the best value full English around and the engine room is set to become a great creative hub. Whilst enjoying breakfast on our day off we conversed with familiar faces from the local neighbourhood who were enjoying crafts and socialising in a relaxed atmosphere. “Great quality food for a more upscale version of a British lunch. The scallops were outstanding so was the T bone steak in particular as cooked to perfection, but was all great. Lovely restaurant in Hale village and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.”

“The best breakfast sandwiches around! Unlike anywhere else I’ve tried, they use high quality buns and toast them which is so much better than the cheap white rolls found in most places. The quality of the bacon and eggs is also amazing. Great pit stop on our dog walks.”

“Crispy chicken breast with soup udon. Iced bubble milk tea. Help yourself with different seasoning. Salt and pepper, seaweed and cheese powder and quite a few others. Would be even better if the breadcrumbs or flour not too thick. Worth trying. Milk tea and a few other drinks come at half price with food order at lunchtime. Very close to metro station or you can park and shop at Tesco Extra with three-hour free parking. Less than five minutes walk from Tesco.”

The service was absolutely excellent — Vicky and Josh were both friendly, attentive, and made us feel really welcome from the moment we arrived. A big thank you also to the night manager, David, who made sure everything ran smoothly and added a personal touch to the evening. The food was spot on — the scampi was perfectly cooked, the fish and chips were crisp and delicious, and the deserts were absolutely lovely. Everything was fresh, piping hot, and full of flavour.
